E3 2014: Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer at Sony Press Conference
Watch this gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight from the Sony Press Conference at E3 2014.
I did notice some frame rate issues there. That said this game still looks awesome. I have loved every game in the arkham series so far, including the one rocksteady didnt do. Cant wait for this :-)
It's amazing how much the gaming sphere has changed, this would have been a fantasy trailer five years ago.
If this isn't GOTY, my mind will be blown. I can't even begin to conceive of what could top it.
This is definitely the excuse those still on the last gen platforms need to upgrade to a current gen or better yet, beef up their PC.
Can people do anything, but complain? Every video, preview, article, and review I see, it never ceases to amaze me. The game looks incredible and I can't wait to get my hands on this.
Although I am impressed with the aesthetics and the fidelity they still haven't sold me on the importance of the bat mobile and that is one of my major grip with this game.
Its easy to create Gotham City, a city with almost no people in it
Lol, just joking, very creative trailer and can't wait for it to come out
This trailer gave me goosebumps. Years ago I remember thinking, "wouldn't it be awesome if we finally got a true Batman game, set in an open world that you can glide around in and call the batmobile when you need it." Now we can breathe a sigh of relief. Well done Rocksteady, you've made a proper, true batman game that doesn't suck.
That Scarecrow fakeout was amazing. I forgot about those and thought Sony had done goofed. Got me good.
Can't wait for this game too :D
I think Rocksteady has done more for the Batman series than all the movies and comics combined. The world they fashioned is pixel-for-pixel exactly how I would have envisioned Gotham. It's beyond saddening to hear that this will be the last Batman for them. I would absolutely love to see what they could do with the Spiderman series.
Before the Batman games, I had never heard of Rocksteady. And now, they are a household name. Some amazing talent, of that there is no doubt. Will definitely preorder this bad boy when the time comes. I can't wait to see what more fun I can have with the Freeflow combat system.
This is absolutely insane, beautiful. I hope they incorporate "The Court of Owls" Storyline somehow. E3 2014 Has been amazing so far with all these awesome games
I'm so happy Scarecrow is making a comeback! He was the best part of Arkham Asylum hands down. That gameplay trailer was incredible, especially with the Batmobile. Can't wait for this one to come out.
@UrbanMessiah It comes out next year so it will have some stiff competition I'm thinking. You're probably right, but I also don't think that it will be a given.
@Liquid_ I just went through your posting history for a few seconds and all it seems like you do is argue and complain about everything. I'm sure it will sell well because it's most likely going to be amazing. Just like Arkham City. You know, one of the highest scored and praised games of all time.
@Liquid_ I respect your opinion but.........Its really stupid.
I saw many new gameplay features.
Watch the video again, but this time pay attention.
Hopefully you are not one of those (military first person shooters) fanboy.
@akumous Taking out armored vehicles, drones, and tanks. It's easy to get around large areas on street level rather than running. It is used for riddler trophies. I'm sure it will play part in several missions. It might be just plain fun to drive around and use it. I really don't see any problem with it. It looks pretty bad ass and will contribute by adding more diverse gameplay opportunities.
@akumous I agree. I want to see what the batmobile is really meant for. I know its for the riddler challenges, but I dont know what else
@aegis_kleais I agree that they've treated the Batman mythos with a lot of respect. I'm not a fan of some of the character designs, though. Some are way over-designed like Croc or are unnecessary, like Harley Quinn's design. It's a minor complaint at best.
Personally, I'm hoping Rocksteady will move on to making a great Superman game.
