That was one amazing demo for The Run... can't wait until I have a chance to play the game for myself.
i hope they get shift 1 handling, hot pers.. graphics(even better),and underground body and sport parts and tunning! :->
Looks great! Hope theres new attributes about this game that stand out from the other racing games. Can't wait to play :)
This looks like 3+ year game, arcade to say the least... It would be more challenging to just race from San-Fran to NY, with root planning, fuel stops, avoiding police etc, like a rally competition, like Gumball or Cannonball run. A game where you have to thin a bit before and choose your tactic. This looks just like crap, police helicopter shoots a gas truck ??? Give me a break.... It will be played for 30 min and forgotten, it will never last, it wont have any influence, it will not be addictive.... Just another arcade driving....
Like the idea of getting out of the car but not the scripted "wait until it tells you to hit the button" crap.. Get rid of the linear garbage!!
Parkour is good, the fb2 engine on car chromes does not look good... enviromental destruction is way off posibilities, porsche unleashed is the only last great game.
OMG This Release Is Gonna Be so Fantastic to Play :D I Love you Need for Speed The Run :) !! By The Way : What You Guys Added was Something Need For Speed Series is in Desperate Need ; Which Its Action ;)
why to mix tow titles...instead.. make it a proper GTA game or just a NFS game....or mix both of em in such a way that both genre lovers should enjoy the game...
Sigh! This is how the people at EA are trying to pull the NFS series from the pit they've dragged it into with all those previous mediocre titles? By turning it into a GTA wannabe and moving farther away from the simulation elements? Hey EA developers, here's a tip and a wake up call for you : instead of this pathetic attempt why not look at probably the best game in the series for inspiration (NFS Porsche); you know, the one NFS game that had a decent (if not perfect) damage system, a challenging game mode - Factory Driver (as opposed to the breeze that was NFS Underground/Carbon/Most Wanted) and races that took place not only in repetitive city streets but also in lovely mountains/seasides circuits? How about giving racing fans a real racing game instead of an action game with watered-down sim elements? But no, I guess you're too out of touch with the fans of the series to do that. Good luck adding another failure to this once great racing series!
This is ridiculous... police shooting at street racers, police helicopter flying so low in the city shooting at everything including the traffic. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop like well trained free runner. Give him a gun and named it GTA 5.
Wow...never thought NFS can get more catastrophically stupid.Typical Hollywood crap for your average american.
Seriously GameSpot you put (Xbox 360) in the title when he is obviously playing it on a PS3 with those button pressing quick time events and you can tell he is holding a PS3 controller.
Now you can get out of the car? I don't think it's a bad idea but I don't like where this is going :\
Wow. A GTA like but more of Fast and Furious vibe going on now. Excited but can't help but be skeptical because of past NFS's with stories.
