@ tehwatever I'm sure that's a coincidence, and not a nod to the fact that this game is surreal and includes references to alternate realities and often has had references to other stories anyway. */sarcasm*
Elizabeth looks like a much older version of Alice from Alice Madness Returns.. then again, Alice's sister in that game is named Elizabeth....
Wow...that looked amazing! I have alwasys admired the bioshock series for how paradoxical and surreal it is, and this game does not seem to fall short.
@Twilighten I agree, i find i strange that they gave her so much cleavage, that doesn't seem like something Ken Lavine would want for a main character. Elizabeth seems similar to Alyx Vance in some ways, but Alyx was not over-sexualized.
Man, it looks cool and im gonna get it, but that b!tch is annoying. Shoulda choked her out when he had the chance
excellent. i love the Bioshock universe! this looks the best of the franchise so far graphics wise. lets just hope they don't sacrifice gameplay and make it all about the eye candy.
oh they implemented some Lovish story as it seems. How wonderful! I love Bioshock Series and this is definitely a MUST play so i am gonna take a copy as soon as it's released!
I cannot wait for this game. Looks brilliant. Just one thing, not complaining, I mean I'm all for that, but geez 2K that's a lot of boob action goin on there.
the graphics are strangely near fable 3 i want a demo so we can see what is the strange world gona offer us .i loved the first one for the strange feels that it gived me even it wasn't that scary situations like in fear 1 or even doom 3 it delivered some strange filings
@skeleme, you are correct - the first person perspective and the idea of jumping from building to building is very similar to Mirror's Edge. The graphics and story line in BioShock Infinite look to be much better tho.
@GameNow79 I think the graphics are good enough and the facial animations are fine they work they still convey the emotion needed for the player to understand what is going on and the engine may be dated but its more than capable of proforming to the excpectations of todays gamers...why spend so much time on a new engine when you could still make a great game on ones you already have i mean it was'nt just the engine that made bioshock one so good and it certianly was'nt the engines fault that the second bioshock was a bit of a dissapointment
The action looks good but I feel like the engine is definitely showing its age. It looks like they're using way too much bloom and the stiff, doll-like faces just don't hold up anymore. I am, however, digging the colorful environments.
I'm not particularly scared of heights... But I still don't like to watch when the ground comes running for your face. He grabs one of those cargo lines but.... Yikes... Just.. yikes..
Ive said it once! & and ill say it again! im gonna play this game till my eyes bleed! oh and i think the move idea for the ps3 is a bad one, keep it for the real core fans please! roll on 2012 cant wait! :D
TBD. First game was groundbreaking. Second one was a bit disappointing, esp. given how original the first game was. This time, in the sky? We'll see how it goes. Graphics certainly are impressive, however it SEEMS as if 2K is still using a graphics engine very similar to that of the first two Bioshock games. In short, the engine has aged on all levels. The graphics still have their own unique artistic styling. However, the textures and animations (and frame rate) don't hold up to those of L.A. Noire or to what we've seen so far in Rage, for example.
Lets hope to god there's no texture popping like Bioshock 2. That was sadly horrible! It would take sometimes a few seconds for a texture to actually come into focus. I know the XBOX isn't that old. And get rid of that aging old UNREAL engine. Or at least use the newest Unreal 5 engine.
