Just watched this trailer, Players cannot use Goku's original self to transform to Super Saiyan!!!!!. Why do they have to do this again??!!!!! and can't just follow the comic or animation to develope the game?!!!
@Utra I've seen a boss battle and it was too slow and boring. I hope that they make this game a good one too. :/ Oh, there will be transformation while on the battle, don't worry. What I most concern about is : will I have fun with it? The problem is with Spike, that has not learned yet how to make good DBZ games.
While the game definitely has an improved visual scheme and sevral new aspects previously unused in other DB games, i have a fleeing that this game will be a flop, every time a new DB Beat Em Up is created they end up re-inventing the wheel so to speak, for example DBZ: Budoki 3, had plenty of players, some customization and a lot of story content, then when DBZ: Budoki Tenkaichi 1 was released while the camera and gameplay had been improved most of the previous content was cut, the same can be said with the newer titles such as DBZ: Burst Limit, that title was simply a pritter DBZ: Budoki 1, with less content and 1 new feature a very basic online mode. Now that the Raging Blast series is done with I don't expect the newer titles to hold well for at-least one or two generations of the next series. That said i hope the game proves me wrong. One thing... Anyone else miss the ability to transform in game instead of just choosing to be a Super Saiyan at the start? I always felt in the previous games transformations added an edge to the battles especially in vs modes.
Did he say Kami?? Hammi Ha??? WTH??!! who are these guys, they fail at elementary grammar and spelling.
This game is a must buy, you guys are being ignorant, you know whats killing todays current gen games development is the addition of online mode so this game is a major improvement.
If you can't create your own character from scratch then I'll pass on this one. I love the Dragon Ball series and all (save for GT because lets face it the battles were horrid, but I loved SS4)
The HUD in this game looks so distracting, coupled with the damage counter it takes up so much screen.
In brief, the Gameplay has been revamped to be more button mashing. The new "Melee" range mode is cool addition which makes this game a blend between Tenkiachi series and Burst Limit. I hope the story mode is like Budokai 3. Lastly i want to see some kind of an RPG Dragon Ball game on consoles sometime around.
since tenkaichi 3 it seems every game after that has been a step backwards. They had so many characters to choose from and covered almost everything storywise. And, even though I may be the only one, I thought the wii controls were pretty good. However, I do realize that people mainly used wii controls to spam. They're just cheaters anyway. This game however I just don't know. I think I need to see more.
Oh hell yes! Finally they've amp'ed up DBZ to 100% pure awesomeness; I liked the other games but honestly in all seriousness the other Tenkaichi games were a bit too confusing and the control scheme was off but this looks like it'll be totally kick ass and will highlight so much of the bad ass awesomeness DBZ and DBGT is known for! From the looks of things they are taking a hint from Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storms 1 and 2 cause if you notice they sequences and the general control scheme look to have the same kind of flow but maybe that's just me
So creation mode is just the editing tool from Tekken? if so, screw this game. I see nothing appealing about it.
@naqibmfo There's 9 in this demo. There will be more in the final product. I just hope there's gonna be enough but anyways, THERE'S GONNA BE A CHARACTER CREATION/CUSTOMIZATION! :D
