I hope I'll see a lot more beasts than in this trailer. There is something repetitive in this one. Small quests and a lot of loot is one thing I long to find. Btw Blizz has not surprised us with any kind of info or trailer for a long time. This game will be a rare gem ...
"The only returning class is gonna be the Barbarian..." Ya right... BTW, a monk-like class is just unfitting for a hack and slash game
Ah, my old friend Diablo. How long has it been? Why last time I saw you, you were only two. Now look at you! You're about to turn three, and all grown up, I see. I look forward to spending hours of time with you. MONK SMASH!
@the_greg.. i would strongly recommend getting D2 + the expansion Lord of Destruction. its a fantastic game. but dont bother with D1. its very good but has very little in the way of character development aside from attribute points. the only thing setting aside the different characters, skills-wise, is magic. which you can only get by finding/buying books and learning them. and then you need a specified level of the intelligence attribute. whereas in D2 every character has a skill tree and is unique in their own way. its much more immersive. hope i helped =]
graphics don't really bother me. i still like to mong out and play Heroes of Might and Magic 2 every now and then, now theres a classic. But i love these simple hack and slash RPGs. Fun, addictive combat with in depth character building RPG elements. PS. i still can't believe it's a monk smashing up all those 'baddies'. just brilliant.
That's one of the most boring things I've ever seen in a long time. I can't imagine doing that for more than a few minutes at a time. I played the original Diablo when it was first released - this looks like the same game, with better graphics and exploding gore. No thanks.
Honestly...this late in the game may be a bit late to get 1 & 2...they are great, but old, the graphics may really bug you...
it looks brilliant. i never played diablo but i might have to play this one. is it worth getting Diablo 1 and 2?
I don't like the death animations of the enemies.. they shouldn't always explode blood, some should collapse or whatever aswell... Otherwise looks pretty damn good!
The bad news: I had to endure 30 seconds on a yogurt ad, thanks a lot Gamespot. The good news: It was worth it to watch a potentially awesome game.
I dunno m8, can't see how fists do more damage then steal or firebolts. Then again, no need for logic in a blizz game
Looks pretty nice... seems like it's still gonna be two-button hack and slash though. I hope they will eventually add more of a freeform attacking style. I saw the same 3 - 5 combos and moves the whole video.... Looks pretty nice though for H&S fans.
this game is cool i mean the blood and fighting will grab lots of people to it but the only part i dont like is the monsters way too much fake in it... but cool game tho
Are you serious? This has got the be the lamest excuse of a game since Bejeweled! Hack'n slash with the same ainations over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again? No thanks! I had enough of that grinding alts to 80 in WoW. Yeah, you guys get pumped about this one and tell all your friends how cool its gonna be...I'll be busy outside getting some vitamin E.
I've never played Diablo, so looking at the gameplay objectively it doesn't look as amazing as Diablophiles say it is. It looks like a pretty basic 90s genre game. I like loot as much as the next man, but I prefer 21st century loot to 90s loot.
THE MONK IS BACK!!! Making a glorious return from Diablo1 Expansion. /*so far, the Barbarian is the only hero that is in all the diablo series. In D1 Expansion, in Diablo 2 and now, in Diablo 3 :) */
wtf? all the fuzz over that? i mean come on i thought it was going to be something epic like mgs4, mario galaxy , gears. That game looks really crappy imho
The Monk looks ruthless and eradicates everything comming his way. This game will be part of my collection :D.
I'd rather Blizzard keep working and deliver good stuff than do like some other companies do and rush everything to meet their own release date. I'm not a fanboy or anything, but Blizzard is one of the handful of creators that in my opinion knows good games.
the babarian surroundings looked more interesting and nicer, still the style of the monk promises a lot
