I love the look of this new area. Hopefully it will be longer than any of the previous Diablo III acts... or at the very least longer than acts 3 and 4.
Wasn't there two new classes back in the day with D2's expansion? One new class after being out around a year and a half feels really underwhelming.
So is a So they did it, an expansion of a Fuking Bullshit game. Way to go Blizzard XP. Not falling for these one.
This interior/exterior thing looks refreshing. Familiar ? Reminds me of D2, don't you think so ?
Anywayz, looks great :-)
I think I heard a demo coming out !? Am I halucinating ?? Feed me Death maiden .....
Until they remove the always online DRM I'm still not buying this. It's bs that consoles will get it DRM free.
LOL, even this preview has the annoying stuttering they can´t fix, yeah, I´m sure it will be a great expansion hahahahaha
lol consecration? not even trying to separate between WoW. watched 4 minutes of this...not even remotely interested. diablo is dead to me.
It does look a bit more varied, but I'd have to see more to see if I could compete with Torchlight 2 which to me was superior to the original Diablo 3.
Give it to us for free ! kind of a " sorry , guys ! Have this and come back and play ?!" incentive ....
They are giving offline to PS3 version of D3, there is no excuse now, give offline play to PC as well.
the demo looks damn gooooooooooooooooooooooooood.
just a comment about the monsters and the level design... are you kidding me? its basically what act 1 was... zombies, undead....
Remove auction house, give offline PC play (so modders can improve the game), Hire a better script/story writer, add casual/competitive pvp, give us a deeper RPG experience- then i will spend my hard earned money on your expansion BLIZZARD!!
graphics bore me, they have no...substance. They blur things. no crisp details, no background that stir your imagination.
Wow-like? maybe. Anyway, they ll just do just as bad as DIII. They should basically change the graphic engine, and hire a decent storyteller. everything else come second
They made such a thing about the "tactics" of engaging enemies. We all know that there is none. At high level its all about spam currently.
The problem is classes have a most efficient build, and i don't see them getting rid of that. Atleast everyone wont look the same
This might get me in to actually play this game, as the lack of a Paladinesque class was one of the main reasons I barely played this game at all...
Now all we need is a friggin released date, which I'm pretty sure, won't be anytime soon...
This is the character I wanted in D3 in the beginning. Well not sure if i will get the expansion, depends on the cost. BUt looks good so far.
@diskotheque And I hope they have a Diablo that doesn't look like a bitch
@diskotheque They've said it would be comparable to act 2 in terms of length
@Daian DRM prevents the game to be crack in some way
@Argle er? More like WoW borrowed heavily from Diablo. However I do wish I had more incentive to play D3. It is dead to me and my friends to my partial dismay.
@bluefox755 yup, same quest driven game, guess they want to stay in Wilson's shadow.
@iagbas Pay Extra Money and u get another Class but ONLY HALF of the class, pay a 3er time and you get the full class and is 30$ more expensive than the diablo 2 expansion back them in 2000. YEAAAAAH!!!!!......... ><
@Erick MALTHAEL PLS
@litote7719 yea i will have to disagree story for me in these types of games comes last 1st is loot, lvl up, fun play, kill monsters. AS much as I am disappointed with D3 I have to say graphics are not that bad out o those things all D3 has is kill monsters with no reward.
@litote7719 I think majority agrees that the priority is to change the core gameplay mechanics, not the graphic. Graphic didn't make what D2 is today, gameplay does.
@Xbox1SinceDay1 and you cant even really spam, the most fun skills all seemed to have a 2-3 minute cool down
@HeadExploder Technically, with over 15 million sales, Diablo III is more succesful than D2 ever was. If it stands the test of time -- (45,000 - 60,000 concurren users 7-8 years after launch) is a different tale.
I remember youtube pranks all over taling about a D3 sequel (so many rick rolls...)
There were pre-orders from this game ever since it was announced for good 6 years ago, so, what would expect? At least 75% of those sales were made by hype, Blizzard's name behind it, the Diablo name itself and the "so longed for sequel" factor.
@Argle The classes in WoW and a lot of their spells are derived from what had already been in the established in the Diablo series. Rouges are assassins, hunters are amazons, warlocks are necromancers, warriors are barbarians, mages are sorcerers, druids remained the same. In the original Warcraft RTS the units were pretty typical and didn't have the robust abilities we see in WoW. Some spells weren't changed in name or functionality. Like a barbarians/warrior's Taunt.
