@ShakemsMaster Yeah, on the D3 beta forums there is already a lot of talk and discussions about the skill swapping and it's pros and cons. There was a blue response at some point indicating that they were not happy with people basically leaving that skill pane open the whole time to play and swap. Also sounds like they are already talking about trying out having them only be swappable in town. (ugh!) Still this is only beta and thats the point of it, to see what works and what gets exploited and then adjust the game before release.

gold balance I'll check on

As far as the soul bound stuff, yeah, so far it seems too nice, you can look for the best gear, leave it in the stored storage for new character, use it until the stats are dated, then stash it again or sell it. I'd assume they just haven't implemented much soul bound stuff yet.

Why do you think that they, Blizzard, would implement some kind of skill tree lock out while in combat? Seems to me like being able to switch on the fly to produce different effects and affects depending on what baddies are in any given mob or adds during a boss fight could mean the difference between living and dying. It looked like your gold balance was available to all your characters, true? Do you think that will change for the release candidate? Also didn't see any soul-bound equivalent in your brief AH perusal, so you can use the crap out of an item and then sell it for in game gold or real cash when your done with it?

Stop commenting on the commenting you depressed teenagers. Great job showing us some of the details. I am also looking forward to seeing more of the demon hunter.

@LooseTeeth The character inventory is that big from the get go. The stored stash is not, you start with 14 spaces and buy more. I have bought all the slots on that character to open up the stored stash to that whole big pane. You can then buy more tabs as well. Between the Couldron of Jordan (break items into gold on the spot) and the Nephalem Cube (break items down into craftable materials) the old inventory management game is going to be a thing of the past.

Boring everyone with my commentary is why I do this series. I'm not a TV personality. I love to see all the smiling happy faces in my comments when I look for questions about the actual game. I might actually be dead on the inside, not sure.

I think the only time in my life I showed enthusaism was one Christmas when I got this sweet Tyco RCTurbo Outlaw sprint car.

See a Tyco Turbo Outlaw in action here on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xcogl1kr5Y

As you can see that is about as awesome as it can get and I think I might have inhaled deeply or even wept a bit. It was what dreams were made of. Even then though, yeah, emotionless and dead inside. So your stuck with me and you'll like it. =P

Is carrying capacity that ample to start with, too? It seems like a ton compared to Diablo 2...no complaints, just surprised. Heh, triple deckard.

He either missed his Prozac today or he really doesn't like this game.

But, seeing as the keybindings go up to 5, shouldn't we be able to swap between different attacks freely? I mean, isn't it the way that it should be?
