The last thing I wanted from D III was a PVP or having to login to Blizzard's servers to play the game. I prefer playing SP and being to be able to play the game anywhere even if there is no net connection. Blizzard did the same thing with Starcraft II and wrecked the winning formula. Where is the Paladin ?? Will I buy DIII. No..
F U blizzard! Give me a damn date! or at least quoter.... year... I've had this game on pre-order for for about 2 months now. i know its coming 2012 since it has been rated and thats the box art, so release cant be that far off, definitely close enough to give a realistic date
I really dont think they are that far off releasing the game. The slated early 2012 is realistic. There will be patches like any other game Blizzard has released.
i dont like your representatives, blizz. oh, and the 'when its done' phrase, is john carmacks. cant wait for the game though..
The skill system in diablo3 is total crap. nuff said. That's enough to turn a good rpg into a mediocre rpg.
No release date.... so we have to wait another year to see if they will give a release date on next blizzcon... CAUSE THEY WONT DOIT OUTSIDE A BLIZZCON.... so yeah... hopefully this backfire at them ...
Perfectly fine with no release date. I'll take the game when Blizz feels it is truly finished. So glad Activision isn't releasing a date for this.
I am just hoping you can do/give more items to your "helper/bot", I solo play. I am hoping you still get one at least :) And I hope for a retail priced game I'll get over 60-100 hours of game play in single player mode/campaign, if not that will really tick me off. Plus if you are taking this long to develope it better be a looooong, fun game. Also I think game looks AMAZING!
@foufoufun0 When you consider that console games have several limitations that modern PCs do not have, it's not a huge leap to consider that the combination of Blizzard's extremely high standards paired with said console limitation would be a difficult obstacle to overcome. They are probably looking for someone who can think outside the box, then take the box and smash it. I'd imagine that M$ and Sony are not so easy to work with when that's your goal. Or maybe Blizzard wants to DESIGN a console? hehehehe. Hmm.
not that I want to see diablo on console, but I find it weird how blizzard is having so much trouble finding a console scientist. I mean are their expectations too high or is it realy that hard to find?
I'll buy this game if you let the player take a choice whether he wants to play an offline singleplayer. Because if not this is not Diablo anymore...
What an AWESOME vid interview! I really like the in-game cutscenes they have; this game is going to be visually interesting! Also very funny with the question about consoles-please, keep it on the computers: we PC gamers need some sweet exclusives, and if this is kept PC exclusive, more people will want to game on the PC. Hell, the PC is the BEST for gaming anyway: better visuals, better performance, and better overall quality. Yes, it costs a bit more money, expecially when you have a nice gaming rig, but, in the long run...its worth every penny.
