@2:50.... the guy does a front flip after being shot with a cross bow.. enough said. I've been waiting for this game for quite some time and this honestly looks bruuuutal.
@sexyweapons no its not only you this game looks crappy! Dude first of all it looks like a bad copy of Splinter Cell Conviction (Close Combats and Cover system) and check the main guy which looks ok graphics wise but other than him every single enemy looks like freakin ducks from a bad cartoon! I played Deus Ex: Invisible War and i swear that one looked better (for a 2003 game).
This game looks amazing. I haven't played any of the previous ones but, I'm looking forward towards this game. It's a one of a kind. Hope the stealth will be smooth like Metal Gear Solid.
Was never a big fan of stealth in games. As long as it plays like the first game, that's all I care about.
can't say if its good ... looks a bit to easy ... guess its not a bad game, but nothing comparable with the first deus ex. In this time i really don't expect anything of the quality ... as there is really to much stupid crap comin and comin ...
Im really excited for this game, but for some reason im kinda afraid its gonna turn out like Alpha protocol :( i dunno just a feeling.
PCGamer UK already rated this game 94/100 http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/07/29/deus-ex-human-revolution-review-scores-94-and-an-editors-choice-award-in-pc-gamer/
@ kaem79 Yeah I noticed that too...I don't like having to log into steam to play a every single game. All i want is too launch a game in be in it with in a couple of seconds.
Don't you people get it? Deus Ex has everything a stealth game has, yet more and done better yet it also has action, hacking and social aspects as well. It's so many games in one and all the methods are done very well too.
Nothing Special, very splinter cell, but at least it's a solid way to play, it looks that they have at least thought of all the ways someone might play this game and make sure each one of them works and is an expansive route to take and for that, they deserve Kudos, no matter how much this looks "been there done that" well ya know, "Go there and do that again, but better this time" is what I say :)
this does not look like it will live up to the hype no to only hope the storytelling is a bit better than the graphics and gameplay
@GamerLegend10: Collector's editions are pretty much sold out already. Only one store in the world has any left. My start price shall be $500.
I like how they're selling this as if a stealth system is totally new to gaming. I saw absolutely nothing new or ground breaking in this video, in fact all the features they talked about are overused, if anything.
@Iszdope i van see what you mean...if u see and know too much about a game before you play it, it can take away from the experience. but i would never order so much stuff without seeing what its like first lol, it can be quite a gamble.
I can't wait for this game... tho when it comes out I'll have a big dilemma... x360 or PC? any thoughts from fellow players?
O.K. here he goes again... Didn't watch that (couldn't, even if I wanted) - absolutely NO spoilers for me thank you. I even pre-ordered Yelena & Barrett figures without even knowing what their faces really look like..! Couldn't stop drooling at the rest! Have three collector's eds locked in & loaded; collector's strategy guide (for the art 'n ****, always); T-shirt (the collector's ed one); Mouse pad (the sexy one with Adam smokin' 'n' drinkin')...so, yeah, I'm pretty psyched...
the nuclear gaming bomb starts counting down with this game going on with gears of war3 BF3 MW3 uncharted3 skyrim AC Revelations and hell i've never been short on memory for up coming games like this... i wonder which game booms the bomb???
@GamerLegend10 Thanks for the second trailer, which really was a gameplay trailer. Though I didn't liked the fps/tps switching and stiff fps view. Sigh! What to do? Pre-order or not!?
@kaem79 there are many videos of this game with gameplay in them (including the one above)...but if that is not good enough then here is a gameplay trailer: http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/deus-ex-human-revolution/video/6284222/deus-ex-human-revolution-gameplay-trailer-2?tag=videos%3Btitle%3B16 and heres a gameplay walkthrough: http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/deus-ex-human-revolution/video/6304183/deus-ex-human-revolution-gameplay-walkthrough-trailer?tag=videos%3Btitle%3B10
@kaem79 ...it was just a question, how can you misinterpret that as an insult??? the reason i questioned you was because you obviously suggested that this game would be mediocre and then stated that you have pre-ordered it...which i found strange.
@GamerLegend10 You insulted me first with questioning my preorder. Do you want me to lie and say "OMG, this will be so awesome, can't wait etc."? When many games are bad nowadays. And with no gameplay footage that speaks the opposite of it. Well I'm not fooling myself as many other do. And I do hope this will be a great game, but hope won't cut it. Can Someone then give a link to a gameplay trailer then, if they exist.
@kaem79 u suggested this would be mediocre...and although i cant say for sure how this game will turn out the chances of it being mediocre are very small. and actually yes there is plenty of gameplay footage as i already said. and please refrain from insulting me...i dont feel there was any need for it as i did not intend to provoke you in any way, i was simply trying to understand your message which in my opinion was not very logical
having the power to become invisible is VERY HANDY!!! another thing is that you guys made this game so AWESOME that I am going to give you guys two thumbs way way way help... I am getting this for Xbox 360... And I got a PS3 as well.
@pumkinboogie the same and I mean it like I posted that completely agree with u also when u become invisible it will be better to play at 3rd then u look more invincible ;)
@with_teeth26 100% agree, the concept of Alpha Protocol got me extremely excited however it failed to deliver (was still an enjoyable game but should have been amazing). I'm trying to lessen my expectations of any game I look forward to playing however when it comes to things like Deus Ex 3 and Skyrim I just can't help myself and have already convinced myself they will be epic gaming experiences.
