Deus Ex: Human Revolution Interview 1
Kevin VanOrd gets the latest details on Dues Ex: Human Revolution at E3.
wow looks like another must buy. ECW33063 its a fps game sci fi says it on the left ov screen fps all the way
Holy friggin deuce! Am I allowed to say this game is gonna be awesome now? The gameplay looks fantastic. One thing Deus Ex always seemed to be a little skimpy on was combat, which was blocky and pretty simple. This looks to not only give you the typical Deus Ex, multiple choice path, but also looks to greatly very combat in so many different, minute ways. I am so excited for this game, this is my current top wish list game.
The first Deus ex : PC. The second Deus ex : PC and Xbox ... the map design was the typical xbox corridor like. That and the simplification of the gameplay killed the license. Please don't make another corridor game !!
The first Deus Ex is a true classic of a game. Anyone who has yet to play it and is following this new entry, I strongly advise tracking a copy down for the PC. The graphics may now be dated but the game play is sublime and the non linear approach to missions has yet to be bettered by any other game, in my personal opinion.
i played the original deus ex and that was top of the range truuuuust me.hope its more than 30 hours though even though thts quite lengthy but i clocked over 100 hrs on fallout3 and over50hrs on mss eff2
I for one am happy that this gamewill be focused on SP. There are many game released these days that have a very short single player and a half-finished MP mode.
I am already liking what I have seen so far. I have never played the previous installments but this this one has me intrigued.
I don't know why I have a feeling that this game will be as cool as mass effect series, whenever I see the trailer, it reminds me of mass effect, I can't wait for some game play footage though, I'm playing the first deus ex so that I can appericiate this one even more!!
@Unheard-Volume it is said by some people that role-playing games are the last hope for single player campaign without multiplayer, am i right
Making all right noises but so did Bioshock just before it went and raped everything that was great about about System Shock 2. I can't help but feel what we will be left with is a watered down, console focused game that steps even further away from the amazing original. I must be getting old I still hanker after 1999/2000.
Surprisingly, it's refreshing when a game is released that doesn't have to have a multiplayer component to it. I LOVE playing multiplayer online as much as the next guy, but once in a while getting into a compelling singleplayer game is just what the doctor ordered!!! ;)
I'm so glad to hear that the new Deus EX, is based on single player. I'm so pissed off about games like MW2 that make a short single player and focus a lot on Multiplayer. I hope they keep the scenarios simple, not those full-detailed maps that we can't even see a door in the wall, because it's full of lightning and shadowing effects. Hope, Deus EX will rock again!!! : )
this will be aweome and so will crysis 2!!! but this would actually pretty awesome as 3rd person. which i thought it was at first from the trailer. but still cool
Loved the first, played the first 3 hours of invisible war and gave up due to it being so confusing and wrong
if this game is a FPS it will fail imo, it looks so good i hope its third person. i really hate when they develop a character like this and all u can see is his gun lol.
Absolutely cannot wait for this game. Finally a game thats longer than 5 hours! Call of Duty Black Ops: hope you listening!
looking cool :) quality yeah pretty bad ,its secret camera filmed,i am even think by phone :D ,but game overlay pretty cool :)

@Dragonknight i think wat they mean by explorable is more along the lines of hitman rather than ac- in the first deus ex each mission basically drop the play into a closed, free environment in the sense that, say ur dropped into a city to get info from a specific building- u hav access to the building with the info in it as well as a hand full of buildings around it that may hav side missions or people that can tell u about more about the current situation or intel bout ur mission- so most likely it'll be set in hitman style of freeroam, but on slightly bigger scale
@ ChrissTheJackal wait wait wait. i didnt hear anything about open world. the first deus ex nor the second had open world. they all hard small areas in which missions too place and these areas weren't THAT big. they had like 2 to 4 paths into the objective (air docks, some closed gates that can be hacked, the main door, a back door. that's it. it wasn't an open world game and this deus ex doesnt seem to be opened either. i wouldnt mislead ppl with this assessment unless u have a proof u r right.
