Interesting but... umm... can we tone down the FOV? When the camera turns, it looks like a fun house.
For those interested in trying it out, the original version of Dear Esther (a Half-Life 2 mod) is still available on any mod download site. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the full retail release has, but is still quite interesting if you just want to try it out.
@Taffelost I don't like CoD or its "clones", but neither should not be compared to this at all, because they are EXTREMELY different games.
This is the commercial re-release of the HL2 mod. It was re-done with the help of a graphics game dev guy Robert Briscoe & is using the latest source engine version (Portal 2+) ... doing some fine graphics effects. It is less of a 'game' and more of a storytelling experience? (just walked through the first chapter today). I love it.
Hmm... this is weird. I've already played this years ago. It was a source-engine mod made by some indie developers. But the graphics have been updated in this version and they've added voice acting. Does this ring a bell to someone else or am I going crazy?
