2d is from the golden years of gaming but it is a thing of the past they are more fun and addictive to play they are true games but now the quality of games is imitating life more and more they become more than just games but we all know life can be boring so we play games to escape thats why games imitating life can be impressive but they are boring to play as its going against the nature of why were playing games in the first place not to rein-act it to escape it
Limbo meets Left 4 Dead. From this vid., overall it looks graphically amazing, esp. the environments. Gameplay-wise, less interesting. I think part of that is involving zombies. I've been a huge all things undead fan for yrs now, well before what I'd call the "zombie explosion" a few years back; and I'm still pretty open to a few new zombie games (love Dead Island), but they have to bring something pretty fresh to table gameplay-wise (like D.I.'s full RPG elements) for me to be interested in this now very over-saturated market. I give Deadlight props 4 adding puzzles and platforming into the gory mix but from this lengthy vid at least, I just don't feel it would be enough. Will keep my eye on this one but will prob. end up playing it only for the visual/atmospheric flare.
Looks good but I have a feeling that it will be very short game, sadly this kind of game last 3 or 4 hours top hope I'm wrong
beautiful game. reminds me of the original prince of persia. Im not really digging the hit detection on the in-animate objects when they smash on the zombies. It almost as if the boxes are a filter than an actual physical object. It would also be cool to see the background figures come into the foreground, that would provide some interest in terms of tension and puzzle solving.
No to zombies. No to side scrollers. No to more arcade titles. Make some decent full title xbox exclusives microsoft and that means no more fable ffs.
