those money hungry bastards at EA made a cheap straight port to pc from console and thought of a neat little line to defend themselves: 'we are treating every port as equal'!! So the question is this: when they made dead space 2 pc port with good graphics and actually did a good job with it... it was a mistake??  If they actually did care about the gamers more than their money than they would not have so many console exclusive games. If you guys can't make a decent port for pc just be out with it and don't release games on pc at all.

Where exactly is this "horror"? All I see is a third person action game here.

I really liked the previous 2 titles. Hope they didn't mess up the winning formula.

The trailer is really... bad... and odd... Where is the dark and lonely feeling of beeing alone in space fighting for your survival!? Explosion, people arguing, really fast paced action music... more explosions, more arguing, more arguing... Yeah, a bit odd... Let's wait and see I guess...

1:05  - "the chilling third person shooter is back"   since when was dead space referred to as a third person shooter.  Oh thats right since visceral sold out hard for dead space 3 to "appeal to a wider audience" and to do that they had to cram as much crap in there as possible that isnt genuine dead space to try to attract a couple other fans all the while pissing off most of the original fans that made DS what it is. When are developers going to f--king learn that people loved dead space because it was dead space not because it was sort of like gears of war, and had some quick time events that looked like uncharted and had a lot of action like COD or some co op like a lot of other games that ironically no one actually even likes all that much for the co op. Take viscerals other current game army of two, the first two sucked donkey balls god knows how that franchise manages to keep going, and they decide to take a mechanic seemingly straight from a worse much less liked game to put it into an already loved and great game to try and make it more appealing. It makes no sense whatsoever. Its like these companies pay absolutely no attention to how  this tactic fails pretty much every other time its tried. The main most similar and perfect example being resident evil 5. Those idiots even tried it a second time with RE6 only to recently admit their failure and say they are going back to their roots after apologizing to their real fans for what they did. If DS3 manages to make enough money to keep the franchise going its doubtful their real fanbase will be able to get the bitter taste of viscerals ass out of their mouths after visceral turned its back to them so quickly for DS3.

Maybe there's still a chance this will at least turn out better than Resident Evil 6 did and ''a final conclusion''? Possibly, until EA throws in a crappy ending to break down the trilogy into an endlessly milked franchise...

Still on the fence for this game even this close to launch...

@robertcain Yeah, undecided here as well. Played the previous ones and strangely not so thrilled about this third one.

I'll wait, see the scores, read the USER reviews and than decide.

Skipped on so many games these last few years because of the bad execution and decisions from devs that I'm surprised at myself of being so calm. LOL

(Diablo 3, Black Ops2, Resident Evil 6, DMC are some that jump to mind.)

Cheers

@robertcain That makes two of us....they are marketing it so hard as a shooter that I don't feel that I'm losing anything if I skip this one.
