Executing a "Critical Burst" linked into a "Power Blow" might be abused by creative players, assuming Tecmo doesn't find a way to limit that combo feature.
Sorry, but I really detest the environnement BS scenes at a point that I might even skip the game. It's not badass, it's not funny and it's not original in the any good way...Thank god they're giving us the option to shut that thing off.IMO It's alot of wasted time that could have been spent elsewhere.I'll still keep up and rent it but no pre-order for me on this one.
Being a huge DOA fan I have a bad feeling about DOA 5. From what I can see it looks like too much clutter on screen to hide watering down of gameplay or a lack of substance. I hope that I'm wrong. As with Ninja Gaiden 3, I think I'll wait before buying this game on day one. Love VF and DOA but I'm just not sure this time.
@XAF1 Actually, the gameplay in this might be the most competitive of all the DOA. There's a lot more guaranteed damage, character individuality, frame advantageous situations, viable grapplers, less counter viability, etc. You should read up on the changes if you really care about gameplay mechanics instead of watching videos that cater to casuals, just sayin'.
Finally it returns to the PS3. Couldn't play this game since part 2. That''s on PS2. Just consider how long the PS3 has been around But it looks like team Ninja is making a heck of a comeback on Sony's platform here.
