More looks like POP The Two Thrones & GOW combination gameplay which I would love to play and give it a try. Definitely buying this one!
First one really grew on me and is now one of my favs. Was really sad when 2 got pushed back to august but when its 4 polish reasons, i usually don't have a prob, w/it. Its looking great. Startling at first to see how much nimbler Death is than War but i'm sur i'll get used to it fairly quickly.
Fluid, simple= Awesome. (When I say simple I mean the controls...) Will buy.

I personally think this looks great, i have the first game but only played it about half way through so far and have enjoyed it up to that point.
This one is like Prince of persia , god of war and devil may cry in one game..

Looks like they borrowed some of the platforming gameplay from Prince of Persia, never a bad thing
I'm looking forward to the game as I liked the original. Just please god NO MORE ELEVATOR PUZZLES!
the art direction is great, but the character could have more weight to his movement, he seems to be gliding through the level

@RetroSEAL You did realize that this was like the first level, right? So it was just like a tutorial into the combat and platforming. I'm sure it will get harder the longer you get into it.
Platforming looks like it's run of the mill. Game just looks too easy. Shame. Art direction is phenomenal though.
If only a game like this had the difficulty of dark souls. Then hack n slash games would be fun.

the first Darsksiders was reminiscent of Soul Reaver. this is looking amazing. I hope the new soul reaver will aspire this good.

This is the best art design for a game I have seen in a long time.
I've never played darksiders before but I plan to since 2 showed tons of great gameplay.
God this game look's soo good. Day one purchase for sure.
The First game was OK. It had many flaws, but it was OK, so hopefully this will be better. I think it's too long, so I hope that it'll be good
Doesn't look like they really took any risks, which is disappointing, but at the same time I kinda like the streamlined, almost old-school approach. For whatever reason, I get the feeling that the devs really care about the game and just want to make it as fun as possible, even if it is just clever mix of great mechanics from other games.. Almost like a tribute to Zelda, Prince of Persia, DMC, etc. all wrapped up in one game.

I tip my hat to Danny for correctly naming the last two Horsemen. I read in OPM that Vigil were calling them Fury and Strife, and when Danny asked the question about Famine and Conquest it sounded like Randhawa wasn't sure how to answer. 25 hours for the main story is a rediculously long time. I could imagine myself getting very bored. I'm still looking forward to this one though.
Great, old school, dungeon crawl "feel" to me. Looks fantastic, love the level/environmental design. Gotta play it!

I like the loot system, having an inventory and levelling up system is a really good integration, can't wait for this brutal sequel!

Looks absolutely amazing, I had no idea that the loot and item system were so in-depth this time around. Definitely makes the game a whole new experience.

Yeah, the quote he said is very true. A 25 minute demo of Beyond : Two Souls is on YouTube and from the video it was pretty evident that the game is a linear interactive movie. It's a shame really.
Whoever says this looks like zelda needs to poke their eyes out. They'd which Zelda was this Action oriented. or Badass.
@Lunatic420s Well, if they make up for it like making lots of levels and battles, it'll be good and fluid. IMO of course.
@RetroSEAL you are aware that this was the first 9 or 10 minutes of the game right ?????
@RetroSEAL Dark Souls isn't really what you should compare this to methinks. I think they should redo the combat to be something like devil may cry.
@RetroSEAL Dark Souls wasn't hard AT ALL. Dark souls combat was all about intelligent use of counters and dodges, really basic stuff. The first darksiders had it's share of easy spots, and difficult spots. And if you listen to what the guy is saying, they did push up the number (and difficulty of some) enemies over the first one.

@Joedgabe Darksiders was very Zelda-esque with all the different puzzles in the game. From an action standpoint they aren't really the same.

@Dojomeat I am not sure its on the X-Box 360 because I heared that many developers prefered to show the game on the PC (because it looks better) and use an X-Box 360 controller to play the game.
@BtotheKS I hate they say this game looks like Zelda. Because a LOT of games had puzzles and the same upgrade based gameplay as Zelda (games like Soul Reaver, Metroid, Batman Arkham Asylum) and none of those games were compared to Zelda, so saying that an awsome game like Draksiders is similar to Zelda its stupid to me because there are a lot of other games that are more simillar to Zelda. And I even think they will stop comapring the two franchises when Draksiders 2 comes out, because in the video we have seen a lot more of platforming and RPG elements that are not present in Zelda.
@LimeDudeZ I agree that it is Xbox, even thou you maybe correct, I can not see them running the game using a PC at E3. It would be looked at with a bit of suspension if only the PC versions are shown at a convention which over the years seems to mostly show off new games on consoles, not that I am saying PC is not represented, only it seems the ratio is more console focused, and this reason I would think it is a Xbox, not a PC with Xbox controls... but I can be wrong, no one will ever know (except for those that do know).
@Dojomeat Yes if you play a PC game with an X-Box controller the control icons become the ones of the X-Box. And as I said previosly a lot of developers presented the game on a PC (because it looked better) and played it with an X-Box controller.
@LimeDudeZ That makes perfect sense, but if you watch the demo again, you will notice at the start the icon to spawn deaths horse is flashing with "RB" and "LB" buttons beneath it, also when he jumps off his horse before he climbs the wall it has a green "A" icon, so i asume its Xbox, unless the button icons change when you plug in a 360 controller?
@LimeDudeZ Yeah, it's definitely looking good so far. I hope the sequel does stand out even more than the orignal.
