this is for you mostafa94 : you should definitly get PROTOTYPE it is WICKED! no doubt about it! MAN!
lol the guy's voice at the start is hilarious :D this game looks really good, can't wait to get it lol.
certain things are worrying me about this video. They drew paths? that could mean, sure here is a MASSIVE map, but there is only certain places you can acess. I could be wrong, and probibly am, but when a game talks about paths, things can't really be that awsome. Another thing i heard the guy say, "it would be really interesting if they had to cross this cavern a couple of times". that won't happen... unless i get a different picture of a naked chick... or a new really big gun everytime i cross it, i dont want to be flying over the same gorge all the time.... that isnt on for a game thats suppose to have freedom written over it But don't get me wrong.. impressive maps and art etc... but they need to plan more carefully and not make it linear....
I was/sort of am looking forward to this game, but I've been carrying a feeling in my gut this whole time that the final game will be mediocre at best. The level design is impressive, but nothing about the graphics, gameplay or character design excites me much. It seems like it'll be a standard 3rd person shooter without many interesting new mechanics. It's really a shame because the setting is unique and interesting as are the weapons but I just doubt any of it will live up to potential. I will be pleasantly surprised if this game scores any higher than a 6.5
I really hope its good. It's been on my radar since its appearance in GI a year (or years?) back but I'm just not sure... It's been so quite for so long... I'm just not sure about sales and finding a good co-op partner.
Yeah, it really is a nice level design, but now that I've seen this clip, I'm not all that impressed with the graphical presentation. It looks kinda last gen to me... I think PS2 could run this game with a few tweaks here and there. And what I also don't understand... if you can't make good character animations, then you should really consider motion capture!!
