This reminds me of Doom 3 because your vision is restricted to the range and coverage of your flashlight in both games and the environment was dark and creepy in both. Yes I know you couldn't hold a gun and a flashlight in Doom 3 at the same time unlike here. Of course you don't get flashback in Doom 3. The narrow indoor, metal floor and submarine lookalike interior are common in both games at least from this trailer.
the physics are really good in this game i have the russian version and im getting the american one its so fun the graphics are amazing when you see the ice melting off the walls
really can't wait for this game, combat looks real, the story is deep & full of mystery, really look forward to this game
what da f*ck is with this flash player?! It's 21st century and you can't make a good working flash player... really disconcerting.
I dont believe in first impressions but this game looks very scary!! i´ll see if this game is avaliable on xbox 360, cause from this trailer I could see a very interesting and funny game
I have play the game and is not bad either. Is something like Bioshock add together with RE where u have to use melee all the time to save the Guns ammo(all the weapon is WW2 guns and is all made in Russian) for the stronger monster because is hard to find ammo in this game. The best part in this game is there is no medic and the only way to heal yourself is by heat source something like flare, firewood and steam pipes and once u go out the ship than your will start reduce life due to the coldness. Although the story is very deep but every single dead body that u touch will lead to their story by how the way he die and u will be that person try to avoid him from dead. Now i have already reach half the game and the story is just keep getting better that makes u want to find out what have happen to the ship and why all the crews is dead. Trust me on this, now i'm playing the Russian version.
Real animation, real textures and realistic gameplay, looking good so far. Its just thta it looks uber hard. I think if they made it aabit easier the game will be a great success
I hope it uses Dolby Surround Sound. When it's done right, surround sound can make a game like that far more enjoyable.
I played the Russian version, the story is very very deep and creative... not sure how it will play out in the English version, but seriously, the Russian version was amazing.
Hmm, from the looks of the trailer, they seem to have done a good job with the lighting system setting the tone for the close quarters environment. that being said, due to the game most likely restricting the player to tight corridors and large rooms, for this to be a successful release it will need to have extremely satisfying combat between the player/A.I. Well done animations for Npcs, weapon models and cut-scenes will be essential. The sound will also have a large stake in this titles success. I'm afraid simply opening doors, grabbing keys and unlocking doors to the next level transition no longer satisfies the jaded gamer. We can only hope they implement new and creative environment interactions and gameplay special features to keep the player interested in investing hours into the single player campaign. Again, due to the in-doors theme, the campaign will also have to be quite lengthy, between 12-15 stages or it will feel like yet another work in progress that was released prematurely. By claiming to be a horror fps, detailed gore and hopefully dismemberment should be implemented indefinitely. It's not an adventure title. Music, ambient sounds, high quality/believable voice acting and versatile npc behavior will also have a huge role in this being successful. Npcs, should hopefully do out of the ordinary acts such as crawling under vents to chase players down, punching through doors with one arm and unlocking (possibly) lockable doors that the player may have retreated to while he collects his nerves (just examples). etc etc etc, don't want to list everything a video game should have, we all know this already. I'll keep an eye out for this title, but won't place extremely high hopes into it until more details about the engine and game-play elements are revealed (if any) before its release. Good luck to the developers. You can do it if you want it bad enough. Quality is only as good as the craftsmanship allows it to be. :]
kinda laggy... and the graphics dont look too good, the gun doesnt look real lol. But might turn out better.
I don't care what the hell "it's like." As long as it plays good an' I have fun. An' maybe if it makes me jump here an' there....that would be good, too. >;^)
looks good, kinda like bioshock good the trailer is a bit too laggy tho, bu i might give it a shot on release =D
the game looks less scary than fear and not as fun as bioshock. basicly a watered down version of both.
OMFG!!! PPSH and Mosin Nagant with many intelligent zombies and f@#$ing awesome graphics!!! i don't care about the story as long as there is a Mosin Nagant in the game!! :P RULED!!!
Yeah, feels a lot like Bioshock, music and sounds, other than that graphics where ok, but whats about?? ur like stranded on a big boat and wierd mutan like people try to kill u, ok, nothing new!!
looks ok, but too many promising releases are coming out around the same time that are probably just going to drown this game out.
