CryEngine3 Tech Trailer - Crysis 3
Soak in all the beautiful scenery and graphics in Crysis 3 that the CryEngine3 powers.
Crytek probably showed the the toad to show the users a kind of connection between crysis 1 and crysis 3 as there were similar toads in crysis 1 and warhead .
Nice one :)
The vegetations & of course that Frog looked fantastic...
But I hope The gameplay mechanincs are as good as the visuals. :)
looks absolutely stunning. but a pretty package doesn't make a great game. let's hope the beauty of it all did not take up most of their resources and they made the gameplay/mechanics prettier as well. ;)
They're obviously fixing all the wrong things.....if they are going out of their way to make sh** you never see look amazing.....
This video looks nice, I'll give them that but the trailers for the actual game look like sh** and looked to play like sh** too.....
I'd rather see a reboot of Timesplitters on this engine....At least TS had more character than Crysis....
Don't know what to say ...
Will a gameplay work as well as engine ?? If it will, we have here a MEGAHIT !
Thats why Crysis defines the definition how to build an FPS........others just can try to achieve its styloe.but cant deliver what it means.........The vegetation&Toad mechanics were simply history making.HATS OFF to CRYTEK.........next time bring some AI mechanics too..........
nasty nasty...can't wait to try out my pc on max settings...might finally have something to stress my 3 liquid cooled 580's
Truly stunning, both technically and artistically, with the solid shooter/stealth action aswell, can't wait!
Love the toad-tech at the end, but sadly it seems my ATI Radeon HD 6450 1GB + 2.8GB VRAM will be enough :(
Now that I look at it, the new environment does look interesting. Cities in ruins is something we see in many games these days. We also see lots of big jungles. But something in between of both, in one of the greatest game engines ever seems really a great place to play around. I hope we get more freedome than Crysis 2 to explore it more.
The game engine sure is capable of doing wonderful things, too bad that EA had to add their Origin DRM trojan and ruin my buying decision with it.
Without DRM this would've been worth about 50 EUR to me, to about 90% for the sandbox editor and modding tools instead of the generic, linear fps.
Then again, the sandbox editor as of Crysis 2 is only usable with a permanent online connection and a Crytek account anyways, so I'll stick to Crysis 1 and its bundled editor then, both of which are usable offline.
There's still a bit of hope left that Crytek may in a year or so remove the DRM and online requirement, but I'm not holding my breath for that.
1:41 Croc vs Nano suit.. Nano suit wins. Nano suit vs Chuck Norris... trick question Chuck Norris is the Nano suit.
@Jamessuperfun No.it wont be enough.I bet
@Warfighter_971 ...I know. No need to be an ass about it... Runs Crysis 2...
Mm-hmm... wart's 'n' all. :|
@Gelugon_baat have u seen the vegetation system too????It does really ass-kicking......
