Crosshairs--Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3 Community Games Night
This week on Crosshairs, we chat with Uncharted 3's lead FX artist about making the game cinematic and check out the hilarious fun of our Battlefield 3 Community Game Night!
Wow the concept of open gaming communities, not being locked into a specific device, what a wonderful future for gaming on the cloud... oh wait, this is kinda like what we had on PCs before proprietary consoles/devices took over :)
@tmus5 Enter the competitions at: www.gamespot.com.au/comps - Just as a reminder though, they're only open to Australian residents.
Hope the Wii U is a success i can't afford to lose Nintendo, both sony and Nintendo have great first party.
@BIGwitchwoman I notice selfishness in the games too but it all seems to depend on which game you get into, I play with randoms mostly so it's a mixed bag. BF3 has alot of COD players coming over so I'm not too surprised to see people being very passive with objective taking. I just with DICE would send out another patch to fix the lag problems that are on consoles, not sure if the PC has those problems but I did see someone mention it.
Absolutely loved the BF3 gameplay footage - you captured many of the ludicrously funny things that can happen in multiplayer very well. :P The cloud interviews were also quite interesting. Good show, but where is everybody else? :(
Yes you are right about the offline storyline in BF3. It is a very similar to COD Black Ops right down to the russian friend. I am very dissapointed in EA for selling me a game that I felt I had already played before and for not continuing the story line of Bad Company after the dramatic end to BFBC2. This part of the game was one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. As for the online content I am slowly getting used to it but still miss the easy to see graphics of BF2 and it was also easier to squad up and know you were not going to lose half your squad to the other side. This game seems to be going the way of all the other games with not much social interaction but lots of selfish play -get the kills and not the objective-. This is the only game I have played online and am very dissapointed to find it has changed so much that I am losing interest in it. Looks like I will be playing BF2 until they turn off the servers.
I'll take Uncharted over Battlefield anyday ! war games are just getting yougsters ready for yet is to come in our brilliant killing future !
