the only thing good about india is they don't care whether a 15 yr old buys a 18+ rated game or a 6yr old ....and never heard of game banned here

If you got friends on the "outside", ask them to change the covers of Mortal Kombat cases. I'm sure they wouldn't notice. Hope Australia gets it's Mortal Kombat fix.

Wow the aussies gotta smuggle their games in!!!!!!! Thats crazy! I've never heard of any s*** like this! I already knew they were scrict but damn! U get fined & arrested & they're takin them @ customs. U dont even get 2 touch the game. Watch ppl will smuggle them in somehow. This is gonna b good. I feel bad 4 them.

Considering MK has been banned by an uptight government, I doubt it'll actually see a release in Australia, they'd have to cut so much content and remove 99% of the fatalities if not all of them to meet their tight-arse requirements. It wouldn't be worth the effort to completely retool the game just to get it in stores, don't expect it to see an actual release besides importation.

Another post:So test your luck is more like the challenges from Soul Caliber games.... pretty cool. Good thing I'm in the U.S. and can enjoy it. To all of the Aussie importers... Good luck!!! I'm sure U.S. Ebay sellers will try their best to help you out.

I'm confused, as an American. How can you allow L.A. Noire, which is based on REAL WORLD violence created by real people, but ban MK, which is clearly not based in reality? Unless, criminals in Australia have the ability to freeze and decapitate their opponents. If that's the case, I'm moving to learn some new fighting skills. The Aussies also have to have some awesome races if they allow games like Mario Kart or Twisted Metal..... Australia must be the hidden assassin training ground.
