The new notification system is messed up. I didn't know there were replies here until today. Still, valid questions require to be answered. @Riterdando, when I was talking about the 100 hour length, I wasn't referring to Mass Effect, but RPG's in general. The prior reference to Mass Effect was to highlight the amount of choice you had in that game. And comparison between the two is a given if David Cage or the producer of the game or anyone starts saying things like "this has not been done in games before, where players have to make these deep choices" and stuff like that. Yes it has, and often better. And often MORE! Look at any Bioware RPG. Like I said, Heavy Rain is a solid game in and of itself. It's when they started talking crazy stuff like that - and others buy into it - that it pisses me off.
@DKant, you really got me wondering where the '100-hour course' of "Mass Effect" is. Maybe that's the playtime of the 1st, the 2nd AND the 3rd installment in the series combined? I'm not saying that "Heavy Rain" is longer than "Mass Effect", of course, nor that it is better. But quit comparing these two games, please, they're completely different.
something in the iOS version that unlocks something in the main game? wtf? that would be the worst idea ever...don't do that.
Rage is looking GREAT! In fact this is the best I've seen of it so far. Depending on what kind of rig they recommend for this game (if a proper high-end one is even needed, considering the consoles - and even Macs...weird - are targeted platforms) I'm SO completely upgrading for this.
Why the hell was Heavy Rain such a big effing deal when you get SO much more and richer choice in games like Mass Effect! I mean what the hell is making omelette when compared to saving SEVERAL lives and helping scores of characters over the 100-hour course of a proper RPG?! Geez. Not that I had a problem with the game itself, I quite liked it. I DID however have a problem with the way they were going on and on about breaking new ground etc - unfortunately I got the Move edition with the slapped-on self-loving Making-Of videos so I got an extra dose of that BS. Yack.
if this game is already out which i hope it is i can not wait until i get the game cause it just looks awsome. but also i think that dues ex: kinda looks like another c.o.d just because of the back round.
@Ronnie_Rim If the consoles can take crysis 2 and still make it look amazing compared to everything else out then i think it will be fine. and yes i know crysis 2 was a downgrade in graphics capability but itll still look good
@badanha_jr deus ex is a shortened version of the latin phrase 'deus ex machina' which means 'god from the machine'
Seriously who's the clown who posted this 3 times on the Gamespot news feed? Probably the same person who adds the broken links??
i am excited about all of these games, ME3 in particular. they seem to be coming along nicely. also, that gun used in the rage demo looks strange.
Why do I feel every-time I watch these videos I feel as though they are intended for the 13 (yr old) and under club members? Can they at least find intellectually qualified reviewers and presenters.
Why are the chicks from Au and UK so much hotter.... erm... better than the one from the US? I think I may have a thing for accents.
