Man, I miss the old gamespot. This guy went on to be the editor and cheif of gametrailers, and only just left recently. It's weird seeing him back in the early days.
Just imagine the "value" score this game would have gotten if released today. Not many games at the moment are hitting the 15+ hour mark for campaigns. Correction: not many modern games will hit the 15+ hour mark unless multiple $10+ DLC packs are purchased :(
lol, 15-20 hours was short back then...compare that to action-adventure games today, 15 hours is long! What a joke.
Games like Conker's Bad Fur Day and Donkey Kong 64 deserve a sequence, and with all the tecnology we have now, they would be more than awesome.
I just had to get a Playstation! I could of got a N64 with this game! WHY?????? No, just kidding. I have both. I love metal gear solid and conker's bad fur day :)
"He finds himself in a world made of... POO." I just started playing this game yesterday after owning it for so many years, and it's a hilarious good time.
Best N64 game I ever played. The multiplayer was good too. This review shows how ground breaking it was at the time. I would rather play this than any other "cutesy" violent game like Naughty Bear for example. Why does the reviewer look as though he's going to throw up all the way through? Does he not like poo?
At around 2:20, after he talks about the stuff that made in M-rated, Shane (for about 1 second), almost has that look on his face that he's about to throw up.
Yeah ironkitty. Try either looking on EBay or Amazon. Alternitavley you could go to either yard sales or try to find it in a game store. They still stock N64 games doncha now.
@ShootumUP2006 it wouldnt be allowed to be on PSN due to Conker is a Rare character, just like Banjo etc. there is a remake conkers bad fur day reloaded for the original xbox that might be backwards compatible.
I believe this was the first (or one of the very first ) Gamespot video reviews I couldn't find any that predate this. The reviewer is Shane Satterfield, who you can now see on Gametrailers. As for his swallows and numerous breathing pauses; the guy was pprobably just nervous. Cut him some slack! He did a lot of good reviews when he was at Gamespot (2000-2002). Conker is awesome. I want a true sequel, not another Xbox remake.
