Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Interview
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is arriving soon on the PlayStation 3 with a ton of extra content. Producer Greg Kasavin takes us through the finer points.
all i wonder is if it was worth it, developing RA3 for the ps3, will it make money and some profit or just be a waste of money as a port from the huge amount of time spent on it
he probably helped in the decision 2 make RA3 4 the ps3 cuz he was impressed how far they went ever since RFOM, he did review that game when it came out
god isn't there one thread on gamespot that doesn't have fanboys from all sides, its very annoying so get over it cause honestly if u care that much u need to get laid and go out for a change instead of spending all ur time in ur parents basement playing video games and watching star trek
good for halo wars and fyi it was already released on xbox so compare it to that not the ps3 version
I realize Red Alert 3 is yet again more of the same, but darn it I like this franchise. March 23rd and 24th are really hammering my pocket book with Red Alert 3 and Stormrise both coming out. It's good to be a RTS fan!
ahahaha see why blu-ray is useful? BONUS CONTENT! noobs, stop being a discrase to gaming and support 54GB over 9GB. PS3 version looks better then xbox version according to him =) there wont be USB keyboard + mouse support? silly devs... why are these rubbish rts's coming to console....weve alreay got killzone, gran turismo, god of war, MGS4 ect. oh well, as long as its better then halo wars =)
geusprime, did greg cut you off in traffic or something? you need to chill out a little bit there bud
Day 1 purchase for Me!! I love the fact that all the extra content was put in here...now if only all devs did this to game on ps3, fill that blu-ray to the max!!! You have the space so why not give us more!!! Oh and Greg K. you are missed so much here on GS, don't listen to some of these fools who probably weren't even around when you worked here. I loved your reviews mainly because I knew if it was reviewed by you there would be no bias and you did video reviews like no other. I remember a morrowind review that was around 20-30 minutes long!!! We are lucky to even get a video review on this site now, and if we do it's around 1min at most!...when you left GS, it went down the drain fast! It hasn't been the same since...well latley they have been getting better.
"The five levels in Contra: Shattered Soldier stay very true to the series..." -Greg Kasavin http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/contrashatteredsoldier/review.html There are seven levels in Contra: Shattered Soldier. Greg criticized the game for being too short. When playing the game on EASY mode, you only have access to the first 5 stages. Keep in mind this is a professional review. Also, when one has time to rehearse and edit a video review before posting it to the net, I believe it would seem a bit more professional to keep the "uh, um, basically, you know, things like that, like, like uh" to a minimum. I ,for one, think Gamespot can do better. I'm not really sure why he is so missed.
Greg, you sold your soul. Terrible acting in the videos + u rape an old game that was good and ahead of its time. I hate EA games! And you are gonna sit there and brag about the game when u know it sucks
I was hoping the PS3 version would be launched after the expansion and with all the content. Living in Brazil (where PS3 games are REALLY expensive) and already having the premier version of RA3 for PC I'll have to pass this one.
We missed Greg. He's one of my trusted reviewers. But we should be proud that he's a game producer now. Good job man!
If I could have a "fantasy draft" for a team of game reviewers, Greg would be on there along with a few of the other guys that left in the "great exodus". How many left? Like 8 of them or something?
Yeah I don't even care about this game. I just saw Greg Kasavan and clicked in the caption so I clicked on this, since he is one of the only dudes on this website who can film a good video review.
Besides making the game look good, I hope the controls, ie DS3 or the option to use a keyboard & mouse will make this game worth it especially for an RTS like this.
I don't really care about the PS3 version since I have the PC. I just saw Greg Kasavin and clicked on it. And I'd like how YoJimsomethingjoe acts like he was sitting there watching Greg play games or something, which he wasn't. Don't judge him monkey [\grandma's boy]
bla bla pc pownes all companies want make more money its the only reason why they even care about consul RTS
why all the love for greg?he hardly ever completed a game he reviewed,if you trust peeps like that then you dumber than i thought
http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/contrashatteredsoldier/review.html Greg Kasavin The only gamespot employee ever to write a professional review without even completing the game he was reviewing. Good riddance.
Greg Kasasin was a great editor. Unfortunately, he had to leave. He will be remembered as one of the best editors in Gamespot history.
Real-Time Strategy is better play on PC. I own a Pc version and i feel that i was ripped-off. there should be only one game made with same content, and everything. No one wants 2 make travel my chasing the better version. waste of time and money.
