Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Allies Trailer
Don't miss out on this trailer featuring the Allies in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.
damn dude, that was cool, but I was a little bit dissapointed. I thought I'll see gundam or something more bipedal robot on Japanesse side
OMG~!!... I need to check my pants... I dont think I wanted a game this much for a long time... this and Diablo 3 are my favs...sweeeeet
Mister Sulu going to take over the world? Holy crap that's so cool. I hope it's great so it can be added to the collection.
Looks really nice :) Now I'm just hoping that they don't include the DRM SecuROM or some other annoying protection tool which digs into my system. If I do get this game, I will BUY it, not steal it, so why do I have to suffer some stupid "mess-up-your-system-protection"??? Anyways I'm a big C&C fan so still looking forward to this title, just keeping my fingers crossed ;)
Well at least gand must feel better after all of that. It didn't make much sence but then again it could of just been me. I have had no problems with anay of EA's games and for that matter I'll get this game and continue to buy these C&C games.
This is pretty much a multiplayer-only title, even the "single player" is all co-op. Anyone buying it will know that and have an internet connection. Who doesn't anyway? DRM hurts one category of people: pirates. Maybe not organized, post it on torrent for thousands to download pirates, but share it all around the dorm pirates. There is no reasonable argument that 3 (and in the case of RA3, FIVE) allowed installs is not enough. If you can afford that many PCs, you can afford another retail copy of the game.
To emopwner5, Destman's point needs a lot of cleaning up, but there is a point in there. EA does in fact have a new publicly announced drm system. I believe that Spore was the firs to make use of it, though they have said it will be used on further releases. Here is where the hurt is: Need internet connection to install, need internet connection to check cd-key every few days, only allows three installs without serious hurdles(try contacting EA customer service) There are multiple categories of people that are hurt by these ridiculous practices. Laptop users, multi-location desktop users, people who want to sell their game that they are unhappy with. How this relates to the trailer can be said with one sentence. Looks great, but no matter how great it looks, I will not purchase it as I consider myself an informed consumer who finds the actions of the company who would receive my money reprehensible. The last three games that I bought were BF2042, C&C3, Spore. Each one has provided me a considerable headache. Here are my favorite things that EA has done to me: 1||They have a policy not to charge credit cards on preorders, until item is shipped. Except apparently when its spore and two months in advance. I could not get a response of any kind out of them on this. I went through the CustSupport site which is really the only way you are allowed to contact them, but yeah it doesn't work. 2||Actively making incomplete games, leaving completed features "deactivated", unfinished storylines, and copy paste code with minor graphical updates. Their system is to make incomplete games and bank on the expansions which for the most part they already have completed. C&C3 didn't just have a cliffhanger ending, it didn't have an ending. Whats worse is that the gameplay didn't have a logical ending(if that makes sense) It was a shame to RTS campaign modes. I will not buy this game because it is EA. Support indie dev's, we need a new playing field for games. Let's not let video games become Hollywood.
Took a close look at the "01:27" frame and the supposed "Tanya" has a allied badge on her tshirt ...so can`t be Tanya :)
To Destman: Im really flattered that you think this about EA "Destman". I dont see how this or any other trailer or product would "hurt" their customers (By the way its spelled like that). I have purchased and played many of EA's products and have never felt "hurt" in any way. On the subject of the DRM, how would you know any thing about this if either you are part of EA (Which is hardly likely), or you are just another phony simple-minded 13 year-old who just hates EA for selling better than whatever company you like, and is trying to make a total fool out of yourself. Plus you wouldn't even know any of this for sure because the game isn't even out yet. So either you somehow hacked the game of the internet (NOT possible) or like I said, your another idiot trying to spread fake propaganda through what we call GameSpot. I think I've made my point...
It's to bad that they are ruining the game with the worst DRM since StarForce. They hurt the custumer and treat them like criminals while the pirates the DRM is suppose to stop simply crack and disable the DRM. The only people EA is hurting with their ever increasing copy protection is the custumer who buys their games and pays their paychecks. I refuse to buy this or any game that EA releases that hurts the custumer. They hurt the people who actually buy their games while the pirates who they are trying to stop are not affected by the DRM. If anything EA's DRM policy promotes piracy by making the pirate's versions better then the store bought ones. This causes many of the people who buy the game to download the pirate's cracks. With a crack the game doesn't require a CD in the drive, doesn't require online registration, and has no install limits or spyware. Once they understand that they are causing people to download cracks by making the retail version worse, they will stop hurting the people who buy their games. Intill then the only thing companies like EA understand is a boycott. Don't buy any game that hurts the custumer like this one does.
Jenny McCarthy as Tanya? why? and whats awesome there's Peter Stormare (from the Volkswagen commercials and Prison Break) as the Russian doc, but I still think the Tanya from RA2 was hotter and had a better attitude.
Yeah, took a second look at the video (freeze frame at 1:27). The new Tanya is way to cuddly looking. She has to look like she could kick your ***.
Dan_Nicholson have you ever played a Red alert game? its not possible to suck, its like they have the philosophers stone
Meh...Kari Wuhrer the Tanya from RA2 was hotter. http://www.wallpaperez.net/wallpaper/celebrities/Kari-Wuhrer-10.jpg
Holy Jesus, they have Tim Curry! Nuff said. And they have George Takei as the, well I guess 'Emperor' of the Rising Sun. Brilliant. Oh btw, Tanya has to be hardcore as well as hot, and believe me, McCarthy is not hardcore in the least (not to mention, a blond Tanya? Please). As far as compensating goes, I hope it isn't like the last game, heavy on actors, light on fun if you know what I mean. Let's face it, I would rather play Red Alert 2 or Generals than play Command and Conquer 3.
My God how much have they spent on Actors!!! Makes me think there Compensating for something! I belive the game is gonna suck!
what are u talking about that tanja is awesome, its Jenny McCarthy shes a playmate and was in two and a half men
American components, Russian Components.... all made in Taiwan! I have a hard-on bigger than a mammoth tank right now!
GAH! They screwed up Tanya, AGAIN! SHE HAD A GOOD ACTOR FOR THE ORIGINAL! WHY CAN'T THEY GET A GOOD ONE FOR THREE?
LOL talk about stereotypes, the Japanese "sulu" from Star Trek looks pure evil and the cutscenes are trying to be very serious but at the same time they look like porn clips with all the slutty women in it.
The war looks cool. The OTHER war, the "Battle of the Babes", must go hands down to Gemma Atkinson. Stunning AND a english accent to boot. All you would need is a tuxedo and a vodka martini and youd have a good 007 movie :)
I just love this RTS game family, It's awesome, great actors and old but interesting story line I think. I can't just wait till I get my hand on it. World war III here we come.
EA does kinda suck. If Westwood was still alive, Starcraft 2 would be in a world of hurt. This game is still going to be awesome. It's definitely giving Starcraft 2 a run for its money.
