I just published a big update that has a lot of tweaks and adds a lot of cool new stuff. I'd be interested to see what you guys think of v.4 if you have a chance to check it out.

A really great idea, I enjoyed the books immensely! But I have a problem with this mod because the Fire & Ice story takes place during what we would call medieval period, while the Civ games go from tribal all the way to present and even into the future... with a mod like this one I don't see how anything past medieval period be integrated into the story. And simply leaving everything past medieval out of the game is basically taking out most of the tech and the units... doesn't make sense to effectively remove damm near half of the game. The purpose of mods is to ADD to the existing game, this one seems to do the exact opposite... as much as I love the story and the universe this is a mod that I won't be wasting time on. Not every single story is appropriate as a mod for every single game... and this is clearly one of those situations where using a mod actually removes more then it adds, no thanks.

Holy crap this is my mod. I don't have a Westeros map or a scenario in the mod (yet), so that's why the map looks random (it is) and why the civs start randomly. Also, Direwolf Packs cannot capture cities. I was afraid you guys were going to run into trouble and blame me, but the description is the unit will tell you.

Couldn't help but notice that your buddy Nick had mysteriously vanished from his chair by the end of the video there.

You guys are brilliant. I would play any GoT mod. Haven't played a lot, but I'll get to the good ones.

This mod looks a tad rubbish. Good start though.

Where is this mod available for legal download?

I was playing some old Red Alert last weekend and was thinking how awesome GoT would be if they turned it into a straight RTS in the vein of Warcraft, etc.

Nice mod, but I prefer the one for Crusader Kings II.

Also, I don't know what that fire stuff was when you were attacking a city. That is not a feature.

@RyuRanVII Yup, this is not bad but the two best GOT games/mods atm are the one for Crusader Kings II and also the one for Mount & Blade Warband

@Harmless911 @sonicare p2p file sharing isn't illegal. Torrenting isn't inherently illegal. If the content that's being shared has no copyright, and isn't being 'sold', no government or big business agency is going to call in the SWAT and arrest you for downloading it.

It is possible to do 'illegal' things with 'legal' items. Just like you can do illegal things with a car (like speeding), or with a gun (shooting someone), that doesn't mean owning and operating a car or having a gun means you are breaking laws.
