Child of Eden Kinect Trailer
Save the world of Eden... the future is in your hands. It's the latest trailer for Child of Eden!
My Kinect is starting to collect dust. When are all the good games coming Microsoft? I can play this game with a controller, what's the point in using Kinect? Is this all this tech can do?
@Kenshiro_Kenoh - Your sarcasm is unfounded, BEHOLD: Flowers ARE awesome!
@ CVGCShubert From what I've read you CAN play the game with a standard controller. It just seems like the game was built for kinect. Looks like a lot of people on here haven't played Rez. I just want Trance Vibrator support!!!
This game looks great! Too bad you have to play with your hands instead of a controller like a normal person.
Oh wow, I first thought this would be interesting, I mean, an FPS for the Kinect, but of course it's this...thing. And it's Ubisoft, not the best track record with fresh technology. Hope they catch up soon.
I wouldn't call it game of the year, but maybe it might be a worth while kinect game. Being that the only game I play on kinect would be Dance Central and Kinect Adventures
God.... what a waste of time and ressources.... can't wait to shoot flowers by doing strange gestures in my living room... May appeal to a certain niche but to call it one of the most anticipated game of the year is too big for me.
amazing you can fight flowers in this WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED?!?! game of the year right there gentlemen
I have to admit though, after watching this trailer, if there is any Kinect game that actually gets me excited it's this one. I sincerely hope this game works properly and is as fun as it looks. Kinect needs a game like this.
"Why are they playing in a warehouse?" Because you need a warehouse sized room to play Kinect games properly. "properly" in the loosest sense of the word.
I like it, seems like fun and a different way to play games. It will probably make you feel like you're using the force XD
@aldronlin - I'm 32, have three kids and I think it looks like fun. In fact, I think it'll be fun after a few beers.
The trailer is a bit "meh" and I'm not sure it's going to warrant $40 or $50, but if it's a $15 or $20 title it looks like it'd be worthwhile.
Never complain when a developer tries to introduce some unique gaming mechanics and concepts in a sea of sequels; you never know what might come of it down the line.
@Bozanimal "I would like to live out my fantasy of becoming Mega Man, thank you very much. Well, so long as I don't have to do the Quick Man stage again" Sure, but not everyone is in 3rd grade here. This game is a stupid idea to start with.
......sigh... really, shooting from your hands? What!? Are you in 3rd grade?!!
I would like to live out my fantasy of becoming Mega Man, thank you very much. Well, so long as I don't have to do the Quick Man stage again.
Looks pretty ho-hum boring to me...makes me think spending the money on a kinect this early was a mistake...we used it quite a bit when it first came out but its basically a dust collector now..Come on Dev's...surely you can come up with more hardcore ideas than this kind of dribble...Geez
This looks really nice! It do have really good graphics and it seems to have a good gameplay! I loove Kinect!!
if the hot female model comes with the game then sign me up, otherwise it doesn't look that interesting.
eh, it's always like this, they release a trailer with flashy effects, up-beat editing and attractive people "having fun", and the actual game turns out to be just flailing of arms with little actual gameplay depth. - They should be going for the stile of an atmospheric game rather than arcade-like.
