CGI trailer is pretty epic....definitely dug that. Gameplay looks unique, I like the location and they always had good graphics for the franchise.
so im suppose to believe sum punk wid his friends turns into a total bad-ass in one afternoon....... kool lets play that ish!
Its 2012 and this looks savage enough for movie quality. Looking epic indeed! I got a good feeling the gameplay will be similar and I wish this game luck for a savage high score! This production will need all the support for a 10/10 because its movie time and we are gona need some snacks to enjoy this on a theatrical scale!
@GabeLZ The song is Machine Gun (16 Bit Remix) by Noisia. Recognized it at the first beat and made my skin crawl!
@krishnaV_ ...well he killed him with that same gun lol and didn't load it. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is the guy who's surrounded and tied to a pole seems to make it out, but not the guy with just a blindfold lol But maybe I noticed this cuz I keep coming back to this trailer. It's amazing :)
@DethAngel22: .. It was probably empty.. He was toying with his freaked out friend.. A way of showing them who is in control. This game sure has potential.
This game is gonna rock the foundations of what it means an open world game. I just wander if you'll be left clueless and without direction once you complete the prologue.
Actually dubstep fits this trailer: dark mood, fear, despair, violence and madness.. really suits the declared theme of ''insanity''. Would have been wrong in other contexts.. but here enhance the emotional response I believe.
Wow, his friend had a gun, a clear chance to kill this guy, AND his hands aren't even bound...just a blindfold, that he could easily tear off...maybe this was some kind of gay fantasy he didn't want to spoil
game looks unreal. But F#ck these ads gamespot puts at the beginning of every movie. might be time to use a different site.
Just in case there's someone who doesn't know the name of the song, it's "machine gun (16bit remix)", by Noisia...And yes, if it sounds too familiar, its because the original mix was udes on a Crysis 2 trailer.
E'm that trailer was something special and CG is rivaling photo-realism I hope games will actually look like this next generation but I don't think they will but the generation after next they probably will.
please let the editor be in this game....nothing better than wasting a few hours making maps....and making yourself a secret sniper spot.
Damn it this trailer was looking so good until that dubstep kicked in D: Haven't seen such an awesome trailer ruined by music in a wrong time... It's still awesome, though. Can't wait to see Far Cry back where it belongs - in a tropical setting.
Makes you wonder why they ever left the tropics for the sequel when an uncharted island holds this much potential for immersion, and gameplay. Very intrigued by the way the character will adapt, and learn to fight better, reminds me of matrix, path of neo. His arsenal of moves would change and become cooler as the game went on, and it kept things fresh. Although i would imagine progress goes with the story, liek if you dont stealthkill once until the end of the game, he will seem skilled even though its new to him, but oh well
So many places to take down bad guys...with no limits to exploring and what you can or may find, makes this game more interesting to play. Tactics will be key.
Im so pumped for this game just a couple of weeks after my birthday too :) such a gd trailer and gameplay video etc.. ! hopefully the animals can be killed easier and some attack you. the shark made me smile at the end of the gameplay trailer!
Why does everyone hate the music? it gave me goosebumps :) Especially the part when he throws a knife into that guys neck, so awsome xD
How can you not feel like a BadAss when you listen to sick dubstep like that? Too all you haters - which other music will you rather want than that?
Am I the only PC gamer in here? The art is not the graphics. The art is the pictures on the screen. The graphics is the degree of realism in the real-time rendering and the textures and the ambient occlusion, etc. Why do they give us a trailer that consists of nothing but cutscenes from a console? Show me what the game looks like in 1080p, please. Real 1080, too, not upconverted console, and the real game, not packaged cutscenes. When you present this garbage, I think you're hiding how crappy the graphics in the PC game will be. I think you're hiding how you've abandoned the striving for PC graphics excellence that marked Far Cry 2. Prove me wrong.
