it amuses me how many people fail to understand what this is, and how different it is to the Battlefield Squad System...
this squad mechanic is just a shiny name to "bots" and all that hype about A.I is pretty unconvincing to me considering COD's track record with A.I. if survival mode is any indicator, than this is a dud.
and for those of u saying noobs play COD i would much rather have a 12 year old doing his own thing than a 30 year old yelling at u thinking his way is the best and usually he just sucks and thinks its real life
@wizzzer_thy_133 COD bots, are aim bots. Their difficulty level is just the amount of time it takes the aim bots to shoot you. Low difficuly: Slow. High difficulty: Ridiculously, unrealistic, never miss aimbot fast
I know its like squad vs squad, there some real innovation. HAH maybe for cod, but its essentially just team death match called squads. its such a joke and BF makes this game look like such an utter piece of trash.
@TheBlade6 They try to make it look as if team make up really matters. lol It's just a shooter and watching the gameplay, I can't see the different from previous versions. If this is a new engine, I can't see the difference.
@gu_kris it's no surprise this is happening. it's basic convergence. but, also keep in mind that the squad systems in these two games only are similar in name, not at all in content. knife animations have constantly been improving in gaming, ever since CS:S days. making an actual knifing animation as opposed to a swipe is much more visceral and interesting to watch and perform. the same goes for destruction. i would still contend that these games and franchises are very different, and that's okay. but it's also not inherently a bad thing that they piggy back off of each other to improve
@gu_kris How about COD suddenly changes it's theme from WW2 to modern combat 3 years after BF2 did the same? Or how they added hitmarkers to COD2 a year after BF2 introduced it. Or the rank progression and unlocks that BF2 introdu...
@RJH_420 Man there is no way u can camp in BF3 or any other BF series , it's a big map n with camping u ain't gonna get shit ! on the hand based on what i've experienced there are too many campers in COD series , the map is small n they easily camp!
It's funny how you say "it's not a fad" yet CoD still tops the sales market every year. It IS close to the same game (not the same game) every year yet it is something fresh.
Some people like the same mechanics that work as long as they get a new perk/weapon distribution, new maps, and some slightly new ideas that don't change what they have loved for years.
Also keep in mind that a lot of the CoD fanbase are people who have better things to do than complain to a blog about how they don't like their game. If you don't like it, nobody cares about you and your "fad".
Theres no real destruction engine for one thing. Also. it is impossible they took what bf did and made it better. You would have to be really blind and dumb to believe that. SQUAD vs SQUAD? are you kidding me? Umm you do realize in BF its SEVERAL squads vs squads all which have a squad leader whom can give orders to the rest of the squad for more points.
Beyond that for all the squads within the army there are commanders giving orders to each squad leader. cod is 1 squad vs squad with no leaders or commanders!
how can anyone call this warfare let alone better. You blind little dumb cod babies. I hope you never see the light because intelligent people do NOT want you out on the real online battlefield. BF makes Cod look like child's play, that is your lesson for the day.
Dont try educate kids blinded by their own stupidity, they've either never played battlefield or are to young to even play COD let alone own it. Lets all just claim that battlefield is the superior game and leave it there, i mean do we really want to convince the little whiney 12 year olds to play the Big Boys game? We should be asking them to convince us whats new and what's better in COD in comparison to battlefield, because at the moment where I stand battlefield is taking a Golden shit all over COD
"It's funny how you say "it's not a fad" yet CoD still tops the sales market every year"
An intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, esp. one that is short-lived; a craze. COD isn't a fad, it's been going strong for several years, I'm not arguing that. I'm simply saying that it's the same stuff over and over again. There's rarely anything new or innovative.
