Well this will really shit my gaming for 10 days. i've already preordered cod ghost for ps4... extra 10 days of waiting will feel like forever.
TitanFall, Battlefield 4, hell even the new command & conquer game is going to take this same COD shit down a notch or 2.
Doesn't matter how the game changes players like me will never change . We will still run around the map like animals, shooting everyone in the face and stabbing them in the back, drooling from the mouth, heart racing, hands covered in sweat, enjoying every second of it.
Not because its COD. And not because i love this game. It's because i pissed you off and that fills me with smiles and sunshine.
Might sound strange as he goes on about how players behave tactically but it just highlights how they lack the knowledge about making a tactile online experience. I'm not sure how "spotting" and covering a team mate counts towards "strategic depth", its basic stuff.
it looks ok for a cod. And I'd play it, however bf4 comes out several days before, and I'll be getting that. I can't get into multiple fps's at once, fucks me up. I wanna play Titanfall and Killzone too, pc will get abused with bf4, definitely want TF too :/
If you want to re-invigorate your series start by taking campaign seriously, fix mechanics that are out of date or unrealistic (grenade indicator and aim-down-the-sights-or-hit-nothing) and wind back the impossible to see or dodge traps/death-from-above-stuff - then we can talk.
My problem with Blitz is it almost forces players to camp. COD is the most campy piece of shit ever. Literally the worst part about it. Same with Headquarters. Here is a headquarters everyone run in and sit in the corners while the counter times down. This looks much the same except one team runs, one team camps. Lose the camping, seriously, it is a big problem.
Personally I think that treyarch should just give their fans what we've been asking for years.A call of duty undead, I'm talking about a full game with a shit load of maps, new characters, new enemies like vampires and werewolves not just zombies , and new weapons with the ability not just pack a punch but buy upgrades.Also I would like a real story mode with real objectives. And boss fights where all players must work together. I would like larger maps, with 16 player co op. and custom in game soundtracks, more perks, and custom load outs.
There is only so much a variance an annual game like this can have. I would rather give Destiny, Killzone or even Titanfall for that matter a try first. COD is just getting pretty dull to me.
Next-gen, same engine. Titan fall has me way more excited. COD really has to have a major redesign, it's stagnating.
cod in general is easy to play and easy to master. just sit in the corner and spawn trap rinse and repeat.
LOL at the people here who hate cod. Why would they put major game changers in as its top game sales year on end, it's keeping to its grass roots. How different can it get without being something completely different? If you don't like cod don't play it to don't watch videos on it, people are capable of playing Cod and other shooters. :)

Please don't ever say that again about CoD. Don't ever insult my intelligence again. You know yourself this game ain't nothing compared to Quake 3 Arena or Unreal Tournament difficulty level because this is just a game designed for CASUAL players. This game has all the randomness and all oneshot kills from toe so don't you dare to say me that this is hard.

@howiex89 I don't think he's referring to them "coming up with a new idea like spotting" as much as they are creating a play style that forces people to take advantage of this "basic stuff" in order to be successful.
In other words, there should (hopefully) be less people "running and gunning" with the best weapon in the game.

@quakke you have the wrong idea of course pubs is for casual players however there is also competitive gaming... mlg fps is call of duty... most competitive games right now are cod lol and hos so.... stfu

I apologise if my statements seem mean, but as long as there is online gaming there will always be players who can utilise the tools and tricks of the game to an extent that the game is deemed unfair and somewhat broken in those areas.
New game modes such as this will always be ruled by those few. these players should not be avoided but instead sought out and bested at their own game.

Don't hate the game cause you refuse to betray your ethical code of sentient gaming.
You only complain when your on the receiving end of an ass whooping, but when your win anything goes.
So get off your pedestal and join us, in some noob tubing, face exploding, camping style, run and fun shooting action because life is too short to deny yourself the joy of online FPS games.

Just because they have MLG status doesn't mean they are hard to master ok.
In fact calling it a MLG game is a joke int itself. You have no idea how many of us older gamers laugh at the idea.
No i wont stfu because CoD can have all the "competitive" gaming it wants but it still wont be as hard to master as Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament. Quake 3 or UT did not have any gameplay slowingdown mechanics in them such as health regen, aim down sights or sprintburst and therefore were/ is alot more fastpaced and skillbased than CoD now or tomorrow.
@Dannystaples14 @Seifer24 I enjoy the campers actually. Do I get cheap-shotted by them once or twice a game? Yes. Do I get slightly annoyed by it? Yes. But then I can spend the rest of the game knowing their favorite spots and flushing them out.
The funny thing about the "campers" you are speaking of...they are the worst at getting kills outside of their camping spots. I just have fun with them until they leave my lobby, lol!
@Seifer24 Or will power and concentration? Might be better than torturing yourself. I am the most patient guy on the planet and I used to pour tonnes of hours into COD. But I realised I couldn't care less anymore. Doesn't mean that camping in this game isn't terrible because it fucking is.
Not a match goes by where someone isn't lying down in a door way or at the top of some stairs, behind a counter. The terminal one is the worst. Camping in the plane, behind the desks, on the roof of the outer building place. Fucking terrible. Like they design the maps for it on purpose.

@emonumber1 @Seifer24 Right yeah I must have missed the training which allowed me to know exactly where every player on the enemy team was at all times so when I walk into a building and they are pointing an LMG at your head I can counter it.
It isn't until they kill you once or twice that you know where they are but when they've already stopped your kill steak one kill short of Juggernaut it gets tedious very quickly.
Besides camp guys cant match our reflexes nor our speed nor our prediction.Thats why they fail all the time misserably.
Well they get one or 2 kils here and there but when they cant enjoy camp as they wanted or hoped for then they start thinking if they are doing something wrong and then their thoughts conquer their minds loosing control and the game.
Thats the life of a camper in short.

Reason why ADS makes gaming so easy, is because everything is so slowpaced compared to Unreal Tournament. If you have dominated in Quake 3 or UT, it means you have got quite a much skill over some CoD players. These CoD players are used to Sprint->stop and ADS->sprint->stop and ADS. THERE. As soon as you stop, you are an easy target. You never stop in Quake 3 or UT. NEVER. In those games you are always moving hence why it's also alot harder to hit a moving target than a stationary one (aiming down sights allowes you to only walk).
And especially because of that second aspect. You sprint.
When you sprint, you cannot shoot. Whereas in UT you are fullspeed sprinting while shooting, strafejumping and rocketjumping. It's alot more comlicated game in that aspect since no one never stands still. You jump over obstacles, lava and stuff while you fight someone. And if you would stop for a minute to aim down sights, you would be killed in a split second.
@quakke @gucci_boy I played UT for YEARS when I was in and just out of high school and it was deff easier than CoD. Granted I played it on PC so maybe console was what you were referring to. Since when does NOT having to aim down sights make the game harder? Though CoD doesn't require gamers to have military strategy, there is a deffinate strategy involved in playing it. Bottom line, CoD skillbase >>>> UT skillbase. (Idk about Quake cause the one I tried was a UT ripoff)
