Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Multiplayer Deep Dive
Take a closer look at some of the new Multiplayer features, including exoskeleton movement, customization, maps, and modes.
This game looks awesome, but I feel this is the beginning of the end for the traditional "soldier" immersion that was really great with the Modern Warfare's, World At War, and Black Ops 1. Advanced Warfare looks like a blast, but that immersion is all gone, no more hiding in the brush with the Sniper, no more huge maps (from what I see), no rolling hills to take cover from the enemy, no camouflage. Black Ops 2 set the trend it seemed. In a word, it's become less organic. COD: Ghosts was not received well but at least it kept that immersion somewhat in the game. Now, the commando's are just flying around in Halo suits. Maybe this is the progressive path to showcase the technology, but I wish they would keep that element of immersion. The fact that they did away with all of that is a little disheartening. and I'm not a huge fan of that. There are already many games that do what Advanced Warfare is trying to do.
Looks good but I'll wait and see if its another hype story. Been let down by CoD before. Hopefully Destiny turns out to be what its being hyped up to be also.
I agree. The game takes a lot of ideas from other games which have already done them.
I don't know how they do it, but every time. They make it look so damn good! I'd like to believe I see nothing new here, but I can't cause it really dose look like a different game every single frign time!
I have to say so though they really out did themselves for this one. I was convinced 3 Cods ago that I was done with them. But then they had to throw a wrench in that and create another mystical mirage that I'm dearly hoping isn't too good to be true.
I'll give this one a chance just like I did for all the other ones. But it's going to take all the bells and whistles to color me a CoD player again.
WOW. I haven't played a COD since Black Ops, and I thought it stunk, but I want this. Hopefully it has a good story mode and reviews well after it comes out.
I stopped playing COD at black ops...it is the only COD I actually enjoy playing...I will pass on this one...
All that stuff looks good, But if you really want to see actual game play go to Youtube and search for COD:AW Pro boot camp. The pros were allowed to play for about 3 days so Go check it out.
The COD Casual formula goes a little like this.......
Developer hypes up Game to be "Best COD ever" Casual gets hyped.
Casual sees preorder bonus and feel he must preorder to get this item which is included inside every copy regardless.
Casual goes to midnight Launch and buys Game.
Casual feels the game is not as good as previous game and b!tches for a few weeks aboout it.
Casual see trailer for first Map pack.
Casual feels maybe the map pack will improve game so buys it.
Few months later Casual has bought all the Map packs even though he doesn't actually like the game.
New COD game is announced Casual repeats the process and never learns its lesson.
A smorgasbord of features from Tribes, Crysis, Battlefield, UT, Titanfall and I'm probably forgetting a few... Still I like the arena shooter vibe and this at least has me mildly interested in CoD MP again.
After taking a long break from COD i have to say i would give this a shot after being repeatedly let down from DICE with Battlefield but Destiny is out so i wont even be looking twice at this
@stevieko5454 Who cares. If you don't like what you see in Advanced Warfare, stick with the old CoDs. CoD has to change at some point.
