Between Bulletstorm, Rage and Brink 2011 is looking pretty good for non military shooters. I'm definitely going to grab this on day one if I can.....
actually looking forward to this, looks like something crazy and rather new for FPS games and not just another modern day military shooter so im pretty pumped for this one
Looks like they are bringing together the best bits from lots of great games with something fresh and new injected in. Like a mix of Borderlands / Resistance / Singularity / Brink and did I see a Vanquish style floor slide lol. Looks like it could be awesome! :) as long as its not repetitive
This is just a superb looking game, nothing else has held such a place in my heart than this game, it is everything which i would love from a game. Yea it's nice to have a realistic shotter like cod or moh but this is just mind blowing fun where you aren't left imagining what it would be like to shoot someone in the leg and watch it bounce away from it's owner, this game is going to own everything, roll on Feb 2011. I'm just praying that the online play and pc optimizations are done to the letter, this game could be great, not just good.
For the fans it's going to be Shooter-Heaven in 2011. Oh, and I want a 'People Can Fly' T-shirt like the one that Adrian is wearing!
Looks like it will be an absolute blast to play. Really looking forward to this game. And the multi-player shown looks great.
Ughhh neither of these modes sound good to me. I don't like arcade style play where you play for the points. The second where you just replay big action story moments with no story and just for points is the exact opposite of what I like. The survival mode can be okay, but needing a certain amount of points and not just surviving to get to next round doesn't sound great either.
I'm ready for this game on PC. Hopefully they do the videos and demos on PCs so they can show off good quality visuals.
@Un4givingAsault That is something that just comes with the Unreal Engine, they all have very bulky characters. Don't know why, but they do.
I wonder how far they're taking the point system in the single player game. I'm a total score junkie (love arcade style games in general) so how big the score plays into it on the whole would be nice to know.
Killzone 3, bulletstorm, crysis 2, Rage, gears of war 3 im loving the shooters coming out next year and im pretty sure i will have them all lol.
@inaka_rob, that was my point exactly. The same company is perpetuating the same visuals. It what makes it all the more disheartening
Looks like an awesome game that is out there compared to traditional shooters, should be pretty fun. I am hoping it is more than a rental.
Lol, first time I checked out this game - graphics look amazing! I'm a big fan of Battlefield, not too sure if i'd enjoy such chaotic and ridiculous bloodshed, but will keep an eye on this game :) What I would be a bit worried about is the game designers and their rep. - he has some serious issues... If at some point police would start finding mutilated bodies on the streets, he would be my suspect no. 1 :)
@Un4givingAsault I think you might want to wiki some info before you post something next time. unreal and gears are made by the same people. The dude who did all the design for the first gears worked directly on the unreal franchise. Its basicly the same style. retarded looking bloated characters./
Weapons and character design are essentially a copy of gears, which is a clone of unreal tournament models.
For all of you, who got problems with some accent here. He's POLISH but he still speaks better then most f__rs on this site so STFU and appreciate that You don't have to listen to him speaking in Polish and reading the english subs like the guys behind The Witcher 2 does.
@DFen They all cover different bases and cater to different styles of play. Buy Brink for refined and polished teamwork. Buy Rage for the signature iD Software atmosphere and quality. Buy this game for sheer sensory and adrenaline overload. :)
why buy this when brink and rage is coming out, although theyre all different games but its definitely similar in some ways gameplay wise...
this game looks amazing, finally a little bnit of a new twist on the FPS genre. Graphics look nice and combat looks fluid, and the weapons look sweet. hopefully the competitive MP side of things is good also.
These types of games never interest me, all the hype makes me forget both strategy and graphics and just try to stay alive, it's stupid really
This game looks sik. sadly i cant get this game coz of Killzone 3. Love the idea about having something thats completely different to Black Ops or Bad Company 2. I'll buy this game if i get bored or dislike Killzone 3 when it comes out.
