ok first if you say xbla again chuck norris will kill you and if you dont do anything about visuals chuck norris will kill you
Looks good. It has gone gold coming out on the 26th of January! Nice to see an FPS with cover system and full dynamic destruction. Two of my favourite things :D :D
Anyone else going to preorder Halo Reach?! Man, I can't wait till September 2010! Oh...wait... Thumbs up if you see that ad too?
this looks so stupid jajajaja please "God I need money permit people to believe my lies about destructibility and buy my cheap game that I created for $100 I need to pay my Ferrari bill" lol
Love the concepts here but would really like to see some polish and fluidity given to it...unless this was a very early video.
this looks like a cheap version of bbc but then again it is just a arcade game didnt think they do alot to this one, I hate how the gameplay looks a little stiff, kinda like how mag is which I think sucks but in any case I'll keep my eye on this one.....
Games today has to be original, and from the looks of this interview, it seems that this is WAY too klichéed. The destruction is ok, i guess... but the actual gameplay looks like any other mediocre Fps. The cover system is seen before and.. i don't know about you, but i think it was cool, though not very good nor practical. The class system is a kliché too. It worked awsomely in the BF BC games, but it's too worned out now to work good in other games. Mabye if the classes were a bit more original, and not just "Gunner" or "Recon"... The game modes seem ok, but i can think of one or two other games (or 3 or 4 or...) that have them. I won't judge it too soon, but i don't have high expectations.
The cover system sucks, you can take cover and go into 3rd person then look round a corner or over a wall without actually looking around it, so you can camp there and ambush people, thats why FPS games dont let you do that, apart from Rainbow Six which was a camp fest with people just watching round corners in 3rd person.
Considering it's a $15 XBLA game and this was an early trailer I wouldn't judge it too hard. Battlefield 1943 couldn't compete with the retail shooters and it still got over a million buys.
@dylan545 I am allowed my opinion. Don't start swearing at me it is the lowest form of communication. If you don't like what I wrote don't read it simple the fact you chose to read it then reply. Then got mad. I think this game looks bad. Poorly made. Poorly designed. Thought I would have a look at it before making my judgement, and it is still the same.
The real question is: do you really want to pay $15 for a game that pales in comparison to the games that already fill your library?
Sounds like the destruction will be WAY better than Bad Company's. I was disappointed with both 1 and 2 of the series. It was all pre-rendered crap and it looked very pre-rendered. This one looks more simulation-based, so it should be a lot better. Not to mention the cover system will be pretty awesome. Hopefully Atomic will eventually get to release Six Days in Fallujah. That one looks good.
Surely the word 'another' in 'another military shooter' should have been in italics! Is this all were going to get now? Different forms of military shooter and fantasy is all we get nowadays!
looks good, but i feel that bad company 2 will keep this title from its crown. this game looks like its going up toe to toe with PS3 Socom 'the new one' hope it does do well as this looks kinda kool, maybe splitscreen local play would be nice for a change tho...please lol
Even though we all know the whole "destruction" thing isn't new, you got to give this game props for the $15 price tag and that it won't require an epic computer to play this awesomeness.
i take back any criticisms, i just noticed he said $15 or about £10, for that price it is well worth it.
destructibility looks really good though and it could be a great game if: the graphics were improved, there were more than 16 players and if it offered more variety in weapons+class options (customization + upgrades would be great)
bc2 is rubbish, not that this looks any better(the only thing that is good with either of them is the destructible environment, buildings in particular), so far. Cant wait for COD 7.
oke, gotta say. really lousy name, Special.activyties division? thats really S.A.D. LOL, sorry for bad language! ;)
@CSP2009 not everything has to be MW2, because you gave your verdict before playing. and also, Bad Company is amazing, and breach looks great so stfu
Wow this game look AWFUL.. More I watch it more it looks like M.A.G which was a bad game with Bad Company. With Graphics from a game called Black... They should stop making this game now and invest in a better game
Well the destruction in BC2 isnt that good. The explosions are covered with loads of dust to ensure that you never actually see the wall disappear which is what really happens It just disapeaers like a big jigsaw puzzle. The destruction on this game you see each individual brick move etc and it seems more dynamic. This game is more like Lego type destruction system which is better that Dices Jigsaw type destruction. This destruction syetm is there alot more advanced than Bc2s, although the visuals are somwehat lacking. And dont be so spoiled, these developers work very hard to make these, the least you could do is show some respect. Btw you can also destruct floors which is awsome, in BC2 the floors are indestructible. Apart from when the building falls downs. To me it looks quite good, seems like the team fortress 2 of destructible games.
is this premature april 1st joke ? I mean this looks like COD:UO, all "innovation" was already made by almost everyone, sounds like CS and so on...The most attractive thing about this game is price but even for $15 dollars you can buy 3 modern games with steam's weakend deals... It looks like that their canceled Close Combat: Red Phoenix became known as Breach...
"there are some of the game modes that are unique"... what is exactly unique? Operations - sounds very much like "Capture the Flag" Infiltration - that's "King of the Hill" for everybody. Convoy game - no, we haven't forgot Unreal's Assault. This is a joke. Really.
The price here is probably the most atractive thing about this game.Since video games discovered the laws of physics recently there have been so many developers making statements such as:"Never before has there been such a robust destruction system in a FPS!" Yeah right....actually you know what...this doesnt look fun even for 15$!
That guy must not play very many games because he doesn't know what he is talking about with the destruction deal.
I like how when he was mentioning 'these things that you just can't get in any other game regardless of the price" he mentioned this mega advanced destruction system. "the most robust destruction system he's seen in any game." I guess he hasn't played any Red Faction or Bad Company. He then says it's rare to have any cover system in a first person shooter. really? REALLY? At least they're smart and marketing it for 15$.
Err, does that any other shooter he is talking about happen to be BC:2? Mark it up for what it is, not what it is not. By the looks of it, I'm not alone.
"There are a few thing that we have done in Breach that you just can't get in any other game". ROFL, yeah, so outdated graphics, sound of weapons that is like typing on an old typing machine and "innovation?!" they talk about + destruction just made me cry while laughing how this "president" is full of himself. EPIC FAIL -10 points :D
