Borderlands: Claptrap's New Robot Revolution Daily Demo
Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software, stops by to demo the new DLC coming to Borderlands: Claptrap's New Robot Revolution.
I admit, I'm one of the ones who finds him ridiculously annoying -- which is kind of awkward, because every single person I play this game with absolutely adores him. I will enjoy finally getting to massacre some claptraps.
Looking forward to revolution, but what's with the game footage they showed? It's ridiculously jerky. So stuttered in fact that it'd be unacceptable if that was the standard of the dlc on release.
I keep coming back to it and can't wait for this dlc. Wish more developers supported their games with dlc for so long and at such a reasonable price. General Knoxx was twice as long as MW2 and for well under £10.
If only there were more games like Borderlands, and developers like Gearbox whom seem to have a genuine love of their product and fanbase. Can't wait!
Can't wait!! I'm gonna get the poster in my room and the claptrap robot hah, I'll have to get the poster from a friend though because I got it right at its release and haven't sold it yet.
Pretty lame that the funny quotes when you first meet up with a boss or npc sort of fizzle away during the game, and it seems they didn't add any more of those in the DLC (from the footage). One of my friend's and my favorite parts of the game is when you fight 9 Toes and it says "He also has 3 balls". I want more of that!!!
Good god, that footage looks boring. I've noticed they market this game with really terrible video clips. My experience with Borderlands involved much more intense and interesting fights.
Never got rid of my copy. You people are not right in the head. Also, Claptrap is now Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap. Find that hilarious
cant wait.. maybe someday i will get lucky and can buy 1 of them clap traps- id love to have 1. being disabled cash is not easy tho.. but id buy the goty if i did not already have the game and the first 3 dlc's.. borderlands is 1 of my favorite games.. guess i will start new off the bus when i get dlc4. and ya- i will wait until after the next patch before i go to playing the game..be nice if they fixed that can get stuck with others quests from others game.. but i will survive.
Cant wait for this to drop... I hope that either A) the patch and the DLC are released simultaneously like with Knoxx or B) the new DLC inherently includes the new level cap. I dont wanna play the new DLC without the new level cap, wasted xp and potential loot.
Got it for Xbox last year and played the hell out of it. Been meaning to get the DLC for a while as well, might just get the GOTY edition for the PC.
glad to see borderlands doing so well and the fact that they supported it so much with dlc's, so many haters before it came out moaning about the style and what not, but there is always haters when people do something different. Respect to Gearbox for being different!
Well, ill get the GOTY edition in october! Been keeping an eye on this game since release.. @ Gruug Where's your sense of humour man?
Looks nice... I hope its as long as they claim it is... Borderlands was a fresh sounding concept after Fallout...
@ated505 in my opinion this game definitely deserves a game of the year edition... i think the reason you didn't like the game is because it might have been hard for you to understand with all those big numbers next to the guns.
I completed all the previous DLC. Haven't played Borderlands for several months, now. I'm glad I bought the game, rather than renting it. It has provided many quality gaming hours. Glad to hear it's coming out before most of my most anticipated full retail games.
My Borderlands DLC is licensed to my old console so currently I can't play it while at college :( No Live!! :( Hopefully when I download this it will work though :P In other words, a definite buy for me! Borderlands was my game of the year last year.
I tought they only make game of the year editions of games that are actually......good enough to be game of the year?
