The only thing that interests me is the power-ups, can anyone who's played the beta tell me what power-ups you get and what they do?
Based on the Beta, gameplay is very good. The powerups can throw you and make things very unpredictable, and this can upset pure racers. But you will be able to turn off the powerups in the release. It is built on real car mechanics, like Bizarre Creations did with Project Gotham. Can't wait to see the full game and all the options and various modes. A lot of potential here I think. And yes, I also liked Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise @dhamodharen.
our racing team has 7 members.Me & my racing team members are totally vexed when prostreet, undercover, shift, dirt. we want game like mostwanted & burnout paradise. because it has beautiful steering control and still we playing that game. so lets see what about this game.
Looks cool but also "budget" at the same time. Don't know why...it just gives off that feeling. Hopefully they'll release a demo soon so we can all try it. Looks like NFS with weapons....which is not a bad thing.
it looks fun for the first hour. then itll get old. then you'll be on craigslist trying to get rid of it. lol.
Too arcadish? maybe so... but I see this as more of a mario kart but with real cars... and without the spiked blue turtle shell :( Regardless, this game looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
@ThAdEa82 If I could highlight things I would. However I will just reiterate the term "Negative Sanctions". Anyways, regardless that was only an example. There are many things that we don't have easy access to. So if the cats want to feel like they are driving a Bugati, let them just pay $60 and leave it at that. Because if any of us had that kind of money to afford such things, I doubt we'd be on here. Also, fun and realism can be synonymous. It's not just one or the other. I think cats are using the wrong comparisons here.
This is the first spit-screen game (that's not a sequel) that I've seen in years. I was really mad when Tekken 6 decided to add online multiplayer to the scenario campaign, but no local co-op.
Somehow, I reckon this is gonna be a load of shi-te like most of the pre-released hyped games, But if i'm wrong, I'll have a blast!!!
@Lou_Menace - No actually my statement is still valid. If you'd like to do that, join a branch of the armed services.
doesnt seem original but it looks like a nice break from all the realistic driving simulators. definantly worth a try
Yeah it's a bit like Mario Kart with cars and yeah it's coming out at the same time (ish) as Split/Second but I think it still looks like a good game and will appeal to people who enjoy local multiplayer. I for one like Forza and GT but it's nice to pay a more arcadey game at times! Certainly this game is on my wish list!!
Heh, "Pushing the racing genre in a whole new direction." Looks like Mario Kart with cars instead of go-karts. How many people actually buy into this rubbish?
I don't get the hype with this game. "Social gaming"? Looks like normal multiplayer racing to me. Marketing department has been working hard with this game.
@ kristaps194 "Hope the PC version has the split-screen. If not I'll keep playing Sega's new kart-racer." I'm sorry but since when does ANY pc game have splitscreen?
This looks nice . It remindes me of Burnout Dominator that was really cool for the split-screen mode!
its very good game but it would be better if the AI opponent uses the power-ups wisely and make things harder for gamers
Wow. This is a new experience? Since when? Mario kart 64? Oh maybe rush hour? Lol. Simply put. You updated the graphics and made a four player racer with powerups with a burnout/need for speed setup of cars details etc. No new social experience. Just bringing back what was already here.
Very interesting game I like it and the playing style. It is a sort of Need for Speed and Burnout mix up together. Awesome game. Added to my tracked list
Basically, your racing game is like Burnout meets NSF Underground meets Mario Kart...OMG you Brits are so awesome!
