"Protecting" people against trading is total BS.  The crafting system is a nice idea, but in practice it's a big rip off.  They worry about people unknowningly trading rares for commons, but then implement a system that forces you into disenchanting 8 cards of the same rarity in order to craft 1 equivalent card that they want? That's the same as trading, you're just doing it with Blizzard and not other players!

IMO, it's just marketing speak to cover up their financial design to make you buy more packs.  I don't blame them for that, it makes sense that they want to make money.  But at the same time I'm not fooled by their PR talk into thinking that preventing trades is doing us all favor.
