Well let me start by saying watching this was extremely annoying. Whoever was playing was horrible! I am not impressed by the gameplay, from what I can see it's the same as every other MMO... but with less mobility options. There wasn't even an auto attack skill, just one shot skills with no damage in between.
I'm kind of sad, this one looked interesting at face value. Gameplay... how you have let me down!
The lead producer stated that this "gameplay" was just for G-Star and was developed to allow a very specific snippet of plot to be experienced as a "demo". All races have their own plot and starting area and they didn't want to give specifics away at G-Star (they had three races use this one demo script). This is not the combat system that will be in place for the game at launch (they started with TERA's action combat system and then redesigned combat from the ground up).
This demo covers a pretty expansive section of the map with a whopping six or seven quests. That's not what launch will be like.
Lets wait and see. This looks like early beta/late alpha footage. I'm gonna wait until next year some time to pass judgement.
this game looks boring as hell.
just a bunch of stupid quests. AGAIN!!!! and again, and again....and....again..
i still think that the best way to make a good multiplayer game is to don't interfer in players game, just give a tutorial and then players will get to know each other in order to help each other, develop, explore and get virtual friendships. by the other way players will play alone and get bored quicky. That's the real deal, that's why i prefer to play games like "travian", than this bunch of boring, time-burning games.
this is my point of view, so i hope i'm not annoying anyone with this "review".
man all those trailers i saw before this made me think this is like a mmo-version of dragon's dogma....watching this made me just put my arms in the air in frustration. damn it why cant you Koreans just get it right...put awesome high end graphics, and use old mmo gameplay mechanics. Its either that or use cartooony anime graphics and put awesome action oriented gameplay graphics..some one needs to sit there and slap em round the head and ask why not put these action oreinted gameplay mechanics WITH the awesome highend graphics and put it all in an openworld mmo setting...not so hard mr designers!
LOL love how there are two guards casually walking on the left while a carnage is happening on the right, they are like, so, today is tuesday huh.....yeap, gonna be one of those days....
NIce Graphics and Design.. though the gameplay mechanics looks boring and dont bring nothing new to he genre.. hope Im wrong
who the hell play this game? is this gameplay or what? kinda boring to watch show us some moves to give us some interest
To conclude i would like to say that i'm looking forward to skyrim online cause it might be the first mmorpg that i will get to like. so let's cross our fingers to be it. if so, it will be one or the greatest online game of all time. wow might not get for the first time in many years the prize of best mmorpg of the year and that would be huge.
@Umur31 LOL kid.
@Gelugon_baat And it's doing it well; however, since I don't have a fantastic rig, for me, it's all about the gameplay. Every mmo at this point (2012) should have combat like dark souls or demon's souls.
