So much deleted content...so much deleted work - it's clearly seen in the video - how many attention was made to details - this demo is better detailed than final. Maybe for one level it can be short in duration and in final version they add more locations in Emporia destrict and make Vox revolition much wider but at the same time flat with ruining the fighting scene and whole concept of moving on the rails - in fact there's no such atmospheric gigantic location to action and fight in final game.
Why wasnt this in the game.... This wasnt even the deleted scene i was looking for. THey removed so much content!
to folks out there TAKE NOTE!!! that zeppelin we saw, that big, floating zeppelin... WAS BROUGHT IN DYNAMICALLY!!!!! IMAGINE THAT!!
I just love how they introduced a whole lot of new jargon to the game industry.. even when it looks conventional superficially, they just KNOW how to mask these seen-before elements and make them seem fresher and unique. How they replaced terms like 'magic' into 'plasmids' and 'portals' in favor of 'tears', adds a lot to the distinct nature of the direction.
Again to all those who thought this demo was scripted.. think again.. THIS WAS ACTUAL GAMEPLAY. read wikipedia article on bioshock infinite for proof.
TO ALL THOSE WHO THOUGHT ELI'S BOOBS WERE EXAGGERATED, think again. They were made for the purpose of MAKING HER DISTINCT FROM A DISTANCE due to the large, vertical areas in which the world is composed of.
Looks incredible, cannot wait. One question though, so is this offically a spin-off or a direct sequel? Because if this is supposed to be a direct sequel and they dont expand on the previous stories of Bioshock that wouldn't make sense...
What I love about this video is it sounds like these guys are having a good time talking about their game. This isn't a job, it's their passion. My highest salute to these guys.
@DBanner126 They didnt build the store just for the demo. The started the demo later and then decided to back it up to the store for more context.
Wow... Filled with thrilling action, an amazing and unique gameplay and story, great characters... This game is a winner.
This is great: It's nice to hear Ken Levine just chatting about the game with his colleagues, and a nice look inside their reasoning.
@pidow there is a full version of the demo without the developers talking over it. It went up at E3. www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/bioshock-infinite/video/6323039
@Gelugon_baat its also on youtube so its not exclusive. see that click here to subscribe thing at the beginning? yeah its for youtube
Looking forward to Infinite, hope it's as good as the first one. The clothing fits with the time period.
I have to agree with Wessel1. Why make a serious game and fill EVERY shot with boobs? I mean not all gamers are 12 years old. Its fine if they make characters cute but this is just too much. It makes a well-made title so much ridicoulus. Make this a bit more adult plz. By adding clothes.
@Wessel1 In Victorian times that was the way women dressed. Its not about b00bs, thats just the way it was..k
It might just be me (don't reply with 'it's just you'), but I dislike the... 'full view' you get of Elizabeth's cleavage. It serves no function. It rather makes Elizabeth seem like a... prostitute. Which she's not. I'd have preferred if the dress makers had had just that tiny bit of extra fabric to cover her breasts.
Absolutely great. However, I think the shooting is still rather clunky. . . That might just be me though.
I just love Elizabeth, she is pretty, helpful and really adorable. Not to mention she never gets in the way.
Ahhh so that's why it seemed eerily choreographed.... They built the store and wrote the scenes for just to make the demo. But I wonder how the real game will play when it's not written for a cinematic recording?
Bioshock Infinite,I find games like that the only hope for FPS genre of today. It looks very interesting, one of my most anticipated games of 2012.Loved both Bioshocks, especially the first one.
