Interesting... like that they're taking the series in a new direction. Hope this one is a worthy sequel.
The original Bioshock was (and still is) a masterpiece and Bioshock 2, while not as epic, was still a worthy sequel in my opinion. When I heard of Bioshock Infinite (back then just called Bioshock 3) I said "I don't think this game is going to stand up to the other two if Ken Levine isn't heading it!" Then I heard Ken was at the helm again and taking the series in a new direction. I believe the main reason Bioshock Infinite will be as epic as the first one will be because Ken really cares about his series and his fans.
BIOSHOCK is one of the best multiplatform games. It's well optimized on the PC, PS3 and 360. I have no doubt that it will run great as it's predecessors did. I can't wait for this game
I need this game really bad, please give it to us, best game in a decade!!! Now this is something to look forward to
Lets get back to something good here. I liked Bioshock 2, but it was still a dissapoint to me. I mean, its hard to recapture what Bioshock had, great story, great idea, and really fun.
Bioshock 2 is broken, so many ppl cant run this game, comes with videocard and not working game, for not believers, search web and you will see how many ppl cant run this game, i like atmosphere in game and dont like shops where you need to buy ammo and just simple stuff, i prefer to buy upgrades there or something special.. no clue about 2nd bioshock about that, still not working, all fixes i tried not help, once i managed to start game without movies and i cant enter options, so i quit and delete game, dnt want to play half game
I'm still playing BIOSHOCK 2 and i even had a t-shirt with an artwork Big daddy in it. My favorite FPS!
If this game is less linear I'll be interested. I liked Bioshock but I'm tired of FPS games forcing you along one path the whole time.
youknow, I liked the original bioshock more... it was a town under water... scary... amazing atmosphere i hope this game will be like the original Bioshock. hope so!
that's a long way down. When I played Assassin's Creed I actually got acrophobia from scaling those towers, I couldn't look down, lol. Imagine this game, I'll get a panic attack.
Bioshock games have nice depth to them. Especially hearing all the voice recordings. They actually have meaningful messages behind them (unlike most games today that have no deep thought). Thank Ken Levine for this "worthless" liberal arts degree.
Ken is pretty cool. Although I completely fell into his hyping when the first Bioshock was in development. I thought it was going to be a deep FPS with RPG elements (System Shock 2 styleee - seeing as he was involved with that one too) but instead got quite a watered down FPS with a perks system. Still a good game but I was expecting so much more from the way he was hyping it up. Still, at least I know what to expect with Infinite. Looks like it's going to be true to the Bioshock series so should still be a good game. I'd always welcome more depth to these games though.
CovertChris, because its still about biological augmentation? What does final fantasy have to do with the very name final fantasy, there's like 15 of em. 13 of them aren't connected in any way except for the system of combat and mechanics. Maybe that's what they plan on doing here.
I do understand the need for a video rage add when there is a bunch of other adds surrounding the text, and video.
I have no idea what the hell he was talking about, i was just looking at that stupid kid dancing like an idiot with the cone to his head. "What did the poor kid did to you?" It makes the camera man zoom in to the developer's face when i am trying to look at those girls at the right :D
Irrational Games are awesome for manning their own booth. Also, their podcast is awesome, "professionally" done and it just sounds great.
