EPIC Bioshock Infinite montage here :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwnKskOLRgo
Watching trailers I noticed two particular characters and wanted everyone's opinion. Is it just me or does Daisy Fitzroy look just like Anastasia Dualla (Kandyse McClure) from Battlestar Galactica and Elizabeth like a youngish version of Jodi Foster?
This has the possibility of being a wildly mediocre game. I'll be reading user reviews fo sho! shiny trailers do not wow me anymore. B1 still the best.
00:26 that view of columbia put me the same face when I saw Rapture the very first time :'o simply beautiful.
Just two more weeks... :)
The crazyness of this game puts a smile in my face...is this game going to be better than the original Bioshock? I don't think thats much relevant anymore, this is looking so bad ass on its own that i'm sure i won't regreat my pre order.
Can't wait. These days bad games are being recognized as good games ( this last Tomb Raider or DMC for example). We need games like Bioshock to remind us again that what a good game really is.
Oh snap there's going to be a fake Commander Shepard in this game?! Biotics versus plasmid...like powers!!!!
I was going to rent this game through Gamefly (I never preorder or buy at full price) but it seems more and more of the gaming industry is screwing over those of use who rent and buy used. Preorder bonuses such as day-one DLC and exclusive in-game items as well as season passes for even more DLC make me feel alienated just because I didn't spend $60+ of my hard-earned money on a game before I am able to read a single review. I remember when I bought a game, new or used, I took comfort in knowing that everything was on the disc and that I was buying the full product. Now I'm lucky if I don't have to buy an online pass to access multiplayer features (Ghost Recon: Future Soldier) or have an entire class locked out (Borderlands 2).
I hope this game sells really well, I'm sure it will. Will show all you money-hungry industry giants how a game is really made!
Just when I thought they couldn't make this game look any better, they go and make this trailer. HOLY SHIT ON A STICK, this game looks so fuqing awesome!!!!! So glad I pre ordered this. I haven't felt this excited for a game since ACII, except maybe when they announced Thief.
"False Sheppard"! Really, GS?
Methinks someone is a little too fixated upon the Mass Effect universe.
Try "false shepherd".
stop it, stop it, stop it.....don't think i've ever anticipated a game this much...i'm taking a day off when this drops
elizabeth put a 1-2 combo on that guy
@Owner34 Still gets you dieing for it don't it?
@petez34 for its time it was the best but when i went back to it it was meh after playing bio shock 2
@petez34 Thank you, that was a refreshing change from the usual hype train posts. While i am optimistic for Bioshock Infinite, i'm holding on for now too. If it's a great game (i think it will be), than it will still be a great game next month. No rush, i'll wait for reviews and feedback from people who've played it.
@max-hit Tomb Raider was awesome.
@Chaos_Dante_456 be...be quiet moron
@analogjunkie24 Maybe because when you rent or buy used, 100% of the profits go to the middlemen like Gamestop, and zero go the people who actually make the games? Why not complain to Gamestop and Gamefly, since they are the ones getting all your money? Ask them to make better games without DLC or bonus content.
In any event, I don't see what you have to complain about here. Most of the preorder bonuses are minor cosmetic items or damage buffs, which you'll probably outgrow in the first hour of playing. Industrial Revolution is a fun little puzzle game, but its an entirely separate experience from the main game. Pretty ingenious way to thank the fans who were willing to pony up the money in advance without "alienating" you renters who want a "full game experience". There are no locked out characters, classes, or missions being given away as bonuses, and there is NO day-one DLC. If you buy the DLC season pass, you get a couple of buffs at launch, I think, but the actual DLC content is still in production. And if they are still working, making new content/expansions, then they deserve to get paid for their time. Hence the season pass cost. It doesn't mean the main game is gutted or incomplete. It means they are making more, because Bioshock fans are a hungry lot. Personally, I'm glad. More Bioshock is a good thing in my book.
I don't like them but I think online passes are understandable. If you're playing a game they've put a lot of work in to making, then I think it's fair enough for them to want to make some money from it.
Pre-order bonuses I don't like though, any extra content should be included in every new copy in my opinion. They make it worse by having different dlc at different retailers too, so even if you do pre-order you still don't get everything.
@analogjunkie24 so stop being stingy and buy a game new...?
@Ferg1213 Yeah! Lets hope they read forums!
@Ferg1213 For great justice!!!
@Pawfalcon 26th March :)
@obsequies what does this have to do with bioshock for non handhelds?
@Shepard_ much better on a console and tv. No tanks
@ThePlantain yea, it was like one in the face, and then RIGHT IN THE FAMILY JEWELS!! I have a feeling she's going to be an awesome companion.
@mickyfinn84 You might want to look up the profit margins for some of these games before you stand on that statement.
@Sharebear420 @analogjunkie24 Stingy? Even if a game were to get glowing reviews there is no guarantee that I will enjoy it, which is I try to rent all the newest titles I am interested in. Even if I were to buy it after renting it I still won't be getting the full game thanks to the preorder bonuses and season passes (which is at least HALF the price of the actual game). There's nothing wrong with being careful with your money dude, especially in this economy.
