aaaaaaand of course zombie map was not mentioned....aaa treyarch is blind on what we want, (i barely use multiplayer anyway) i would happily buy a 20$ map pack with 5 awesome zombie maps, they should make a whole new friggin game from nazi zombies
wish they would throw in atleast one of the WaW zombie maps with first strike pack, can't get them with the regular edition of the game yet.
Sounds good. I'm all for paying reasonable prices for worthwhile, content-heavy DLC, especially when it's for an innovative, original, and challenging game that requires good teamwork, tactical thought, and patience. Oh wait a minute... sorry, my bad, I must be looking at the wrong game, because this clearly isn't any of those things.
@ rhyselupton I quite agree that snipers are part of the game. Sometimes I leave the front to take a break from the trenches frenzy. Another point is that they are not just snipers but mostly recon. The number of times I've been spotting the ennemy without a single shot and all the sensors I've thrown in order to help the assault teams I can't really count. Plus I use the VSS as an assault riffle when I assist the attackers. Rellying on the amo I receive (or not..) I help a lot in breaking the objectives. And the main result for me is a very bad K/D ratio but I don't care as far as my team wins the game plus it's fun that way.
Funny how people whine about snipers, if your the fool who runs in and gets killed from a person who takes advantage of the terrain then tough luck. You wouldn't see people running around in the real world carelessly,it actually takes more skill then just running around guns blazing :)
Agree with everyone on the price. But as soon as people realise they they can't play online anymore cuz everyone has bought the DLC, they will just do the same
Sniping is dead in Black Ops, maps don't really matter. Anyway, where is the justification for the price increase, they are exactly the same amount of maps in the same combination(3mp 1zombie) as World at War....whats the reasoning?? Doesn't make any sense at all, thats one thing BO had on its side with treyarch, the hope they will keep their cheaper map packs, now its just another MW2 clone.
Sniping is for #$%#.. hence the reason its was scaled back in the release.. you shouldn't be able to fire a sniper rifle until the gun is fully scoped anyway.
Sniping? LMAO! People camp and snipe in every map in Black Ops right now. They may not be good spots, but they still do it. Hoping they do a huge patch with the release of this map pack. Fifteen bucks isn't that bad, but it is expensive. They are only doing it because they got away with it on MW:2. Wishing the COD series was through EA. EA ftw?
Wow a lot of people are complaining about $15, I wonder how much you spent to buy an xbox, to buy black ops, and to pay for live, and to pay for internet service...? And yet you people complain about $15.
I like the variety offered here. Especially for snipers, the maps here now dont give them much love. lol
I still think that 1200mc points ($15) is more than this will be worth...at least that was always that case w/ MW2!
don't come here and talk about halo and other games. this is call of duty black ops. btw i like the zipline idea too.
Black ops had all the potential to be awesome but the campaign was too short and linear and there is no gore in mp.
Although black ops' multiplayer had a lot going for it I thought Battlefield bad company was the best game. Halo reach was okay but definitely repetitive.
@ dingoshade u have great taste!!! halo sucks! how can that end up alongside gaming greats like battlefield: bad company 2 and vanquish? and how dare GameSpot give reach a score of 9.5 and COD: Black Ops only 9! they should be ashamed!!
haha i still love that BC2 trailer. torn between BC2 and Reach but apparently Vaquish was pretty damn good so i might actually buy it but as far as I know this fight is between BC2 and Reach by far
as far as im concerned the only similarity is that they all have guns, each game has a different style of gameplay. Arma for example is for the mil sim people, where as call of duty is a fast-pace close quarters game, its all in a voters gameplay preferences
Depends on the Platform you're playin on for one. Personally for PC, I'd have to say "BF: BC 2", while "ArmA II: Operation Arrowpoint" for the more serious-minded. While not a console gamer, I'd have to agree "Halo: Reach" has a good chance even over "CoD: Black Ops".
Can't they just list them instead of forcing us to watch a video? Anyway I'd say either Halo or Black Ops. If Arma would just fix it's horrendous bugs it'd be the winner for sure. Can't believe I wasted money on BFBC2. What a waste.
Halo Reach. BC2 was great, but Halo dwarfs it in the quality and content department. Of course, most people will probably say BC2 because it's a multi platform game.
