Best of 2010 - Best Game No One Played Winner
Find out our winner for Best Game No One Played of 2010!
I beat this game some months ago....it was AMAZING!!...it combines everything, good shooting, good story, nice grafics, explotions, BIG bosses, SPEED!!(a heck load of it), it was quite long, a variety of weapons, etc... for me it rates easy a 9.0 , that one point i dont give couse a multiplayer was missing, a coop mode or versus. The rest everything EXCELENT. I RECOMEND ABSOLUTLY!! ...im glad it won,.
I'm so glad Vanquish won. It was so fun and the mechanics and AI were spot on. The boss fights were amazing as well.
Vanquish! Hell yeah, I did enjoy the cutscenes aswell cause this game really didn´t take itself too serious.. Kind of the charm about it - always be a little TOO much..
...because the majority of people play it safe, without risk, with peer influence, in their comfort zone, and go play usual redundant games like the CoD series. Humans are silly creatures.
Once a picked up the controller I didn't put it down I started playing it Saturday until this Sunday morning. I skipped going to the club just to continue playing this. Yeah it's that good.
Well it definately wasn't RoF. I bought it the day it came out and it was horrible. One of the worst RPG's I have ever played. JRPG's are still stuck in the PS2 era
@CastleCrsherz @TheBest88 guyz get real if it had an online multiplayer it would have surpassed al multiplayer games except kill zone 2 and ya if you have a ps3 online id let me know
@dsgfbvdgshvbd GoY?? nah, but yea multi would've been fresh @CastleCrasherz why wouldn't online work??
I HAVE TO GET THIS GAME: VANQUISH!!! only if this game had an online same as the campaign it would have been GAME OF THE YEAR!!! thumbs up?
I think I'll end up looking into a few of these games never heard much about them so I never picked them up.
Haven't played the Vanquish demo yet. Wasn't inspired to in large part because the story cutscenes that I've seen range from cliche to mildly annoying. I'll get around to it at some point because it could just be the victim of an unfortunate advertising campaign. However, this recommendation loses points with me because they also liked: Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. I did play this game. I like on-rails shooters to an unhealthy extent so, if it were any good, it should have been a slam dunk to go from rental to purchase but this game sucked. For those who think that "well, maybe the story was great", no.....no, it wasn't. By stage 2, I had largely forgotten what was said in stage 1. By stage 3, I had more than enough Sin and Punishment.
Well, while I wouldn't have done things the same in Vanquish, it definitely an awesome sci-fi action arcade game. I've only played the Demo, but it has some awesome features, like the scale of some enemies. And the fact that it has some strategy to it instead of just blasting away anywhere you like, while it's explosive too. Sure it has this cheesy Japanese "charm" to it, which I could instantly tell only entering the game. But I decided to ignore that and enjoy the action and gameplay to it. It did notice an influence from a couple of game though. Such as Crysis and Killzone and some more. But again, influences, it's like a bunch of elements from different games made one crazy sci-fi-game.
Maybe more people would have played Vanquish if its story, caricatures (instead of characters), voice "acting", art direction and game design were all not obnoxious.
I love resonance of fate and I still play it, I put in more than 400 hours into that game and there STILL more to do! From what I HEAR about FF:XIII, res of fate is better than FF. SEGA is making all these exilent games like bayonetta, res of fate, vanquish and sonic colours too! and yet they don't get reconition or a lot of people playing it, mayby because all these games lack online play? (sonic colours has local co-op)
Vanquish deserves more credit, wish people would wake up and play something other than call of duty....garbage.I didn't get a chance to play Resonance of Fate yet though.
