Behind the Games: Steve Papoutsis
Executive producer of Dead Space 2 Steve Papoutsis tells us about his time with the punk band No Use for a Name, how he wanted to be Clark Kent growing up, and what "tubes" means to him.
If you look around the mall in dead space 2 you can see his picture in one of the display windows. . :)
I truly like this guy, he got the style in alot of things. Great job Gamespot, this is something i think is the first time for me to see here.It might have happened before but i might have not realized but great job.
The audio for Dead Space 2 is fantastic, so I'd have to say that I like this guy and enjoy his and he rest of the teams work. I hope he'll keep making great games for many years to come.
nufan was one of my fav bands and dead space 1 & 2 are two of my fav games :0 freaky coincidence maybe.. this guy rocks
There is a huge difference between good developers who care about what they create and those who think of their job as just a job not as a tool to create. Props to the Visceral Team. But I think that DS2 does not have the same feeling as DS1. Cheap tricks .....
Good interview! We need more people like him who put emphasis on story. Can't wait to start Dead Space 2, Amazon is supposed to ship my collector's edition today.
Cool interview! Brings a lot of insight to what developers are on about throughout the years. Nice one, Gamespot!
This is a good interview and all but somebody needs to tell Steve to give up the rockstar dream and get an adult hairstyle
