@ perrybeeinoz---- dude go find a game on battlefield right now. and tell me if you get any problems. Case closed. they fixed most things, just as they said they would, and onslaught rocks
This is multiplayer footage... Couldn't they just give us a minute-long video of what it's really like???
has anyone noticed that nothing is shiny in this game. the graphics have a signature look and the lighting is good but i cant stop being reminded of sand paper when i look at the walls well at least it dosent look like every thing got drenched with shoe polish like mw2
So is the footage in this video from onslaught, or just old gameplay videos? Is it compettitive multiplayer, or horde base co-op like gears of war against AI bots?
ok so another update has been added. Great the graphics to the snow boards are more clear and conscise. u fixed the m1garand which matters nothing to me cuz im not veteran status. BUT BUT But the online games are still laggy and jumpy and glitchy. especially when allot of action is going on like tanks and allot of shooting at once. Its actually worse than before. EA please take time for this. I die at least twice a game cuz of the lagging and appearing of my character in another spot contrary to where i thought he was.
I LOVE BFBC2, it's an incredible game, yet I have to admit that my love for the game is seriously damaged by the way EA and Dice handle things and communicate with their fanbase - EA forums are flooded with various bug reports and there is aproximately 1 EA answer per 500 000 questions. SPECACT update is a huge letdown, both due to timing, the way PS3 and PC players have been screwed and the whole Dr. Pepper issue. Battlefield 1943, for example, still announces that "soon there will be a demo for BFBC2" - does anyone need more evidence that they are completely not coping with the amount of work ? And this interview "we don't have the date, we don't have the price, but it will be revealed soon, really really soon" is just another proof of their poor management of things. Yet after all this, i must still say that BFBC2 for me is a game of the year, whatever new game i'm getting, i play it for a few days, put it aside and go back to Battlefield :)
I am getting close to 500 hours online now, I still enjoy playing with mates online, but all my online buddies are sick of no action from EA regarding the growing list of bugs.I would be real glad to rate this game with a big fat 10, but it falls short of that by a long way, great potential, could have been the game of 2010, but fails by lack of product development and customer care/services. Sorry bud, talking this game up on behalf of EA does not cut it anymore, fix the bugs, stop adding more maps/gear to make more money from us EA, if you cant even fix what you sold to us why even add more to the game.
@krinnium BF has some issues? the Battlefield team is trying to fix it? Very simple, they had the beta/trail version for all us gamers to try out, gave them loads of data to insure a bug free game, so how come from day one the M1 Garand/Thompson bug (one of many) has still not been fixed? Is that how a company fixes their problems with a product? As I stated before, so many bugs, no real indication of them fixing any of them, but lots of time and effort being put into creating more income with additional maps/cammo gear and so on before addressing the growing list of bugs. There has been no real effort by the producers of this game to address bugs as per people feed back on the forums, their website is a joke. None of my in game stats match the website stats, never updates in real time so I can check where I am score wise to insure I get my next gold/platinum star, so for me to see where I am I need to leave my mates in the game, check my scores in game then comeback into a game. Kill-zone 2 lets you check your score on your laptop on the fly while playing the game, and the list of bugs and annoying flaws go on and on.
perrybee... chill out dude x] BF has some issues, everyone knows, such as drastic "moonwalking" fer a bit after those special ops skins released, but the battlefield team is trying to fix stuff. just go to their site and check out their forums. as far as im concerned, its gonna be awesome roasting mad AI's with three friends, and it couldnt get here sooner xD
WTF they are adding more to their already bug riddled game, fix the problems that have been there from day 1 before trying to make more money of us. I am not going to waste my time typing the things that need fixing with this game, as I sure the people that have played this for 100 plus hours are well aware of what I talking about. Good game but could have been a classic if the producers of this game gave a toss about the people that play it. How can players give this a 10 when all these bugs are not being fixed, 400 hours of online play and all they do is add more money making features then rather fixing it, Come on fellow players speak up, so this game can become a classic, not just another classic stuff up.
I'm near certain it won't be free, because in the in-game store it doesn't have the VIP symbol next to it like the free map packs. it would be cool if it was free regardless of VIP, but i doubt it
the bad news is that ive heard from an official dice member in the forums that is not going to be free or vip as much as i wish it would
Oh for crying out loud guys. The reason that Dice didn't incorporate co-op into the single-player campaign is because there were certain parts where the player had no support whatsoever. Play the game and think it through...
right,,,they're releasing a co-op dlc,,why didnt they just incorporate co-op into the singleplayer campaign? thats what everyone was demanding in the first place! even the reveiwers were demanding it!!!
How nice to talk about it, and then give footage that is 6 months old of multiplay! I love this game, but if they really wanted to hit it off well, why didn't they make the single player co-op? Oh, that's right.... it would've been too easy!
They dont know the date? my lefty! This woulda been completed along with the rest of the game and shoulda been on the disk! oh wait, it is! i'll be payin for an 'unlock' code! I love the game but this is a kick in the guts for this to have not been included at release!
@ chaoticchild555 @ powerwolff It's Paid DownLoadable Content(PDLC). VIP is just for maps, that's all. The Spectat Camo was PDLC as well.
checked on the BFBC2 Store yesterday and Onslaught is not a VIP download. which means we're gonna have to pay for it. if the pricing is right I'm all for it though, looks cool ^^
@powerwolf It is free, all DLC for the PC is free as long as you bought an original copy (not from someone else, but the store).
