Battlefield 4 - We Have Explosive
Obliteration Mode requires you to transport a bomb to key objectives on the map to destroy them.
when i saw the thumbnail this was the first thing i thought of:
I HAVE the car
This game mode should not be on a full size map. The guy ran with the bomb for (almost) the entire video and STILL wasn't close to a plant site. I like the fact that they are putting new game modes in, but maybe do certain game modes on certain map sizes. Just like how they closed off maps in BF3 for the CQC team deathmatch.
Was that seriously a video of a guy too dumb to realize his weapon was empty running over open ground for a full minute?
Video is called 'We Have Explosive' and not 'We Plant Explosive.' I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe the next video will be the part where he plants the bomb or the part where he fails.
I'm watching this and I'm all like, "This is Battlefield 3." But it's my brain tricking me, it's actually Battlefield 4.
I loved BF3, but 4 doesn't look all that different from what I've seen, and after the disaster of servers being owned by 12 yr olds, COD may be worth a shot this FPS cycle
@PetJel Probably someone who is used to CoD, where you can't reload while sprinting...
@PetJel I get this feel everytime I watch someone play, it kills me dude.
@PetJel Could not agree more. 3 bullets will save ya. And don't you look back?
@Quarkzquarkz Consoles holding it back.
@Quarkzquarkz yea that is thanks to activision and their cod GHOST looks like mw1 to me so EA is doing the same with bf saga but for me
i give my $ to BF and not for COD because the only evolution that they make is a DOG
90 seconds of running isn't the end of the world. besides, there was a possible plant at around 40 metres but the player chose the one 100 metres further on.
Gamers are getting more lazy every year and want to be done in no time. Why? So they can complain about too short a gameplay?
@berserker66666 wow COD fans are desperate LOL look at this guy, he barely made any sense
@CallMeDuraSouka yeah, ghosts looks so good, its like from 2007 and shit.
@CallMeDuraSouka watch out though, cause ive read quite a few articles precisely adressing this: BF4 looks extremely similar to BF3, but plays and feels much much better and different.
We'll see in the beta for sure.
@devak108 Just here..right here in my nose, there is a huge green one...would you?, my hands are kinda...busy.
@MrTekku probably the noob was killed
@JimmyJumpy Well it's not that I'm lazy as a gamer. I just feel that game mode would do better on a smaller map. Like Demolition on COD. Its hectic the whole time. It's fun that way. I know these two games are not the same, but it just seems it could be done on smaller maps.
Once again BF super fanboys come off as more childish then COD fanboys.........the game looks fun and visually pretty good.
Stop with the stupid please, I loved BF 3, I don't want BF3.7 that's why I was concerned, and considering COD
True but unless you beta on a nice rig( mines a little above middle) how are gonna know wether they got next gen right?
By the way, October needs too hurry the hell up September can take the year off
@yeah_28 When is it coming? the beta.
@AC3R665 I know that. I'm saying for the sake of this EPIC COD vs BF3/4 war that has been going on for the past couple years. I realize there are games that did things before hand.
@NBDFreakdiesel @chaos-commander @JimmyJumpy Sorry, but planting bombs was in Counter-Strike since 1999. So, its didn't start out in CoD. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch was in Quake 1 1996.
@chaos-commander @JimmyJumpy Ok. The game mode is....from....COD. Its modified with an extra detonation spot on the map. However since it's not a crime to have similar game modes I never condemned it to be just like COD. As my comment clearly says. They ARE NOT the same thing. I like and respect each game as an individual type of game. Whether you feel the same way as I do is irrelevant to me. I know a lot of people hate Call of Duty. That's fine.
@CallMeDuraSouka Basically long story short BF 3 fanboys were born after Bad Company 2 started using COD mechanics in their franchise. So all the BF rulezzz thing is COD ex fanboys yet ruining another fps franchise.
At least your reply was witty, and well thought out.
Also due to indications that you are simpleminded, i will reiterate, i never said I was getting COD, considering is a completely different word
@CallMeDuraSouka enjoy playing the same game from 2007
@CallMeDuraSouka if by rts you mean having to time hitting X and Y at the right time I agree. I can’t stand them games. The first Battlefield I ever played was BF3 in the single player campaign mode.As soon as that popped up on the first mission I was ticked. The next mission when it happened again took the CD out the Xbox and planned to never play it again.I am so glad a buddy told me to try multiplayer.I can’t imagine playing a game when that is pretty much all you do.
Well said...only problem is, as wonderful as Rome looks, I have never been able to get hooked on rts, the only genre I can't get into
@CallMeDuraSouka that depends whats "getting next gen right" for you, if you mean graphics and performance, then you are right about the PC being key, but i was talking about the general gameplay, wich is what i heard has been greatly improved, so even playing the game at minimum detail would still work for me.
Also, september has perhaps what may be the ultimate vice, Rome 2: Total War
