shooting your gun by pulling the right trigger on your gamepad - a classic battlefield moment
Noticing all the glitches and lack of polish and waiting for patches - a classic battlefield moment
Doing everything you've done before but brag about the graphics - a classic battlefield moment
Seeing F*&%ing amazing things I wouldn't able to do in game on youtube - a classic battlefield moment
just a thought but will this games multiplayer be crossgen? i mean can people on the 360 also play with people on XB1 or people on PS3 with people on PS4 because that would be a cool feture and as they would be using XBL or PSN they could do it
now this may have been said in the video but for some reason i can't get it to play with out messing up i can only get about 3 minuets in
from what i see from the bf4 stream, dice is finally listening to old battlefield players. for the idiots that always complaining about old battlefield fans whining about bf3 being the worst battlefield, this is what old battlefield players wanted for bf3.
The first developer who has been honest about the second hand market. People buying used games and playing on Dice's servers cost them money to up keep.
It amazes me that in a game where the developers are obviously trying so hard to give you a stunning visual experience (and succeeding) they don't bother with animations for transitioning between on-foot and vehicle, and then between different positions on the vehicle. I found that fact quite jarring watching these demos.
I don't know what to make of this. I hate what Call of Duty has become in recent years, but Battlefield (either standard or Bad Company) just doesn't get me all excited. But then again I am more of a single-player player, so that probably doesn't help much. I'll plug away at BF3 for a bit longer then maybe pick BF4 up once it's come down in price.
Destiny is a completely different looking game compared to battlefield. I want both but that's like comparing Halo to Cod in my opinion. Battlefield seems to have it all sorted and also as i said before i think that Dice are going to get a lot more sales and fans in this game so don't worry about competitors (if you are, i doubt it though :D) or games like Destiny because Destiny looks to me a lot different and i want both.
I didn't get BF3 but i'm definitely getting battlefield 4 and i think this game has brought a lot of new fans to this series, also that Cod got pretty shit since and after mw2 so I want something new and it looks like you've definitely put a lot of hard work into this. Can't wait to get it.
Comander mode is back MORE destruction looks better than BF3 (never thought it was possible) AND is gonna be on the ps4 as well as xbox 360, ps3 and PC... im IN :D (btw no i did not forget about the xbox one... i just dont care... at least not until MS cares and trusts in there customers like sony does)
Battlefield 4 on next generation consoles would be great with 64players at 60fps, i think this year COD domination will shrink dramatically. However i feel Patricks answer in respect to used games policies is unfair at all
I have never been so excited for a game as i am for this one, i mean holy fuck warfare dosent get anymore amazing than this.
"...you can sit on the bus and fiddle around with your weapon."
Lol! Pretty sure you'd get some funny looks for that.
Looks amazing and DICE is listening to feedback. Cannot wait to get my hands on this and then Battlefront 3
BF= dogs < human, COD= dog > human
I just wish I had more than a wireless connection for all that multi-player syncing (big waves, better hit sync, building collapse, road fallouts)
@GamerBaboo then dont play them genius -_-
@theshortsshow Not only that but the 720p video doesn't scale smoothly... looks so coarse.
@MajinSquall I'm dubious about buying next gen games for current gen and wouldn't bother. Learned the hard way this gen when games on 360 were ultra nerfed for PS2. I'm just waiting and getting the games comming this winter on PS4 next year.
@Razor10000 I don't understand what you are saying. Do you mind telling us why this is better than bf3?
@Snakepond1 Decent point, but once the game is initially sold and have accounted for that player, then when that player sells the game, they no longer play on the server, and the buyer takes over that "slot", so second hand sales don't add to the number of people playing the servers.
@GamerChick_LA not suprise, u a chick. COD is where chicks n pre0teens spend their fre time, enjoy
@3v1LR0n1N Yeah, Commander mode sounds like it may be the thing that tips me over the edge into buying BF4.
I don't think it's that Sony trusts us. It's that they realized it would be financial ruin if they restricted used games and made online mandatory.
Of course, that doesn't mean publishers won't still restrict but they may not after this fallout. And if they do restrict, Sony has the ability to deflect all blame onto them because clearly they're about supporting used games.
@ddogbritt16 Man a want split screen multiplayer too
@ddogbritt16 this is as realistic as real-life so people say it is the same
@SeannTHEsheep damn i can't believe that there are people actually bought that thing , any how EA didn't support WiiU that's mean no BF for it , forever ...
@innocent69 @vitaminbep1 @Snakepond1 but it's still one player worth of use. I play for a year it's the same amount of usage as someone who sells after 6 months and next buyer plays 6 months.
