Battlefield 4 Completely Re-balances the Multiplayer Classes

i have every single battlefield game thats came out even the pc ones and i dont think im getting this one. b3 really upset me. graphics wise the game looks amazing, but control wise ehh i cant mess with it. the controls feel janky clanky and not tight. i feel like i have no control of moving my gun while aiming it feels like im fighting to aim. it totally ruined the game, then add ridiculous recoil on top of that and its just not fun. especially on a team of people with 2/11 kdr. when only 2 out of 24 people on one level are only doing good then you know the recoil is to much and controls suck. you try to shoot someone 10 feet away from you and cant with 200 bullets yet they ping you with one bullet and your dead. it gets old. i had 54 days worth of hours in battlefield bad company. played it nonstop for 2 years and nothing else. now i have no interest in this game until the controls stop being so janky and bullet lag stops. plus they need to stop cloning call of duty. i started playing bf because it was nothing like cod, now it feels like cod with vehicles. i have more fun playing wolfentein type of games
Now if BF4 only drpped off that stupid CoD health regen i might actually pick it up. I don't recall early BF's carrying health regen (1942, BF2) so why not drop it off. Health regen is lame.
Is it true that reloading in BF4 before the magazine is empty will actually deduct rounds from your total ammunition? I've been waiting for this feature in FPS for so long :)
Not to be negative but if they dont make the multiplayer of this game like the old Battlefield 2and allow mods Ill be upset. Mods such as Project Reality on PC were amazing and turned the game completely tactical then what it is now being a Arcade shooter.
C4 (RDX) was on Recon in 2142. The range adjusted rocket/grenades were in the assault class in 2142 as well. Here's to hoping to some form of a Titan mode :)

Will the general BS found in BF3 also be present in BF4, such as unexplained deaths, bad lucks and suicides? to name a few
I was really hoping that animations would be put into this game for mounting vehicles. shouldnt be able to teleport out of a tank instantly.
I did buy a gaming pc, but I pretty much just bought that for RTS... fps will stay in my living room for now
I just hope you can snipe people with one shot. They wrecked sniping in BF3 with the no ghillie suits lens glare and 2 shot kills.
Im getting it even if nobody else likes it i think its a perfect game not based on real life wars thats what i like just to play bf3 its brill long online multiplayer games and now with 64 players can't wait
Well I remember for sure it was the spec ops class that had it, but I may be misremembering that they had sniper rifles. Maybe they had m4s. Lol it's been so long. I imagine you're right.
Im kind of sick of all todays games putting so much stress on being "balanced".. balance is boring, it renders all the different weapons completely pointless.. If they try and make the game come off as so realistic than why dont they ask themselves, is real war balanced? Hell no. In real life different guns are designed for different purposes. Some more powerful than the others and all for different strategic aspects. In bf3 although it seems there are hundreds of guns it is basically rendered completely pointless because once you have used one gun you have used them all.. For example, in bf3 the SVD Rifle has the largest caliber sized bullet of any marksman rifle, yet it does about 30% less damage than the bolt action rifles just because it is semi-automatic? How stupid is that? I understand it is a game and that both sides should be balanced in regular mode, but come on dice, at least hardcore mode should follow a system where guns operate in reflection to thier real life counterparts in terms of caliber sizes, velocity, rate of fire etc.. Hardcore mode should be a mode of realism instead of just a 20% reduction of every players health.. If you look at games like the original counter strike 1.6, that did not become the most played fps game on pc ever made by being balanced.. Everyone used the ak-47 and the colt although there were other guns available.. Those guns were the best and it just so happens to be that those are the two most popular guns used during real war time conflicts.. I am just sick of seeing 100 bullet long lists in the patch release notes showing obsessive micro-tweaking of the recoil, rate of fire, spread, and damage all in response to daily crybaby player complaints.

Favorite shooter series and possibly best shooter multiplayer, just my opinion. Been playing it since battlefield 1942 always excited since Battlefield has always had a mostly decent online community and really that is what its about for a Battlefield game. Also 32 on 32 would make my day 12 on 12 was to few for large 360 maps
This has pretty much made me go back on my decision to stay away from another Battlefield title...BF4 will most definitely be a must buy.
Does it re-balance the maps and take away individual weapon unlocks (ala CoD) so people don't spend entire games (even objective based ones that require teamwork) trying to go for kills instead of actually contributing the team? Because it really should.

I feel like people are going to put c4 in the elevator or right in front of the door and I'm going to have a bad time with that. Elevators are the chockpoints of all chokepoints. I think I'll take the chopper lol.

@dying1999 That was already there in the old battlefields. You didn't have an ammo count you had a magazine count.

@blairstheman I respect that, though I don't understand how someone would want to use a controller over a kb/m for FPS once they have given both a fair shake.

Spec Ops in Bad Company 1 had SMGs.
@spindie Your argument makes no sense... you don't want balanced guns but instead you want an unbalanced system where everyone ends up using the same guns that are the most effective. That's the exact same thing as all guns being balanced... Why would anyone ever use an inferior weapon if there are others that are more powerful? Think it through, there is no logic to your gripe.

@spindie hardcore, where everyone sits and hides in a bush 1 shotting people with sniper rifles. And where the spot system is completely worthless. I understand it is hardcore and all but there comes a point where it being realistic becomes boring and frustrating. Ive tried to play hardcore several times but I just get frustrated with either a random bullet hitting me from across the map and killing me, or everyone and their mother playing sniper.
@Grenadeh noob, wake island is 5 times: 1942, 2, 2142, 1943, and 3. So it would be for a 6th time if it appears in BF4.
@Alexk91 If you follow the commanders orders, you get bonuses on just about everything you do. That will motivate some people. A trick Ryan and learned is to look for mic only servers. Those people seem to always be on point with teamwork.
Elevators? would you really use one when everything is falling down around you?

@Kooken58 @spindie maybe the solution/compromise would not be in tweaking weapons but level design. That way the weapons stay true to life, the game can have one at a disadvantage (just like life) but the terrain/level is design with peaks, valleys, trenches obstacles enough to stop the sniping spree.
@brewed100 @Kooken58 @spindie ARE YOU FUCKING KID ME ?? bad company 2 and bf3 already HAD maps designed to prevent sniping, in bc2 all good sniping points were off limits to the player, to the ridiculounes of perched rock overlook be "just" outside the map perimeter, when the same perimeter is farther 2 meter ahead to both your sides.
In bf3 they placed random trees, building all carefully position so that if you take overlook from a crest or hill NEAR objective mind you, you can not turkey shoot anyone, it was the first thing i noticed while playing bf3, all the good spots i saw to help neutralize advance had some misterious object placed just in my line of sights, and some of them werent on the beta, sooooo......
