Thank God EB games have a return/refund policy for 7 days, seeing we get slugged $109 dollars Australian, and based on my play time with the beta the game does not look like a stayer for me, BFBC2 had its problems but it took 1400 hours of my playtime, I just can't see it with BF3, but hey I could be wrong!
I only question is why would you air this "special" the same night as the midnight release of the game? Like ANYONE in their right mind, reserved the game will be tuning into Spike TV for this. Good thing for DVR. They should send a 100 free copies to TiVo employees thanking them for making it so popular.
If I'm not wrong about the concept... The football payers = whatever random person without training can play the game. The play = graphics vs reality images- sometimes you can get confused. ..great job! 3d modelers and texture artist.
@burrito_tester Dude relax. There's only 1 map, no vehicles and barely anything in the beta. It's the beta for a reason, they're just testing the waters, we haven't experienced anything yet.
That was what I call a bad trailer, what does Battlefield have to do with football players playing soldier? I liked Bad Comany 2 but Battlefield 3 beta was horrible. I NEVER want to play a dice game again....
i dont see the big deal bout the trailer i mean they can only show us so much befiore the game comes out so they dont ruein it` i think its a good change considering how much they have shown us so far
You all completely missed the point of the trailer (which is their fault, I guess) - They were showing scenes from "real life" and then scenes from the game to show how realistic it looks. They tried to make it somewhat more interesting than just flashing images by having the idiots talk a little bit. Calm down.
Wow, seriously EA? This is one of the lamest trailers I've ever seen. No one cares about some football stars pretending to know **** about war and the struggle to survive on the battlefield. Just show us some actual gameplay...
I should learn not to overhype games, I mean this game is great, but nobody can say it is THAT much different than anything else. Still a day one buy for as an avid BF player, but it is not all that it is made up to be that's for sure. Maybe when th conquest maps are played it will be with vehicles. I personally think they mimicked COD"s infantry game
EA... please please please stop. No one cares about all this extra crap. Just show us more of the game if you're gonna do a trailer, not some live action exhibition match cluttered with rehashed footage from 4 months ago.
dont hate this trailer is showing the teamwork of BF3 if ur gona hate hate on MW3 they still havnt even shown more then like 3 trailers of random 3s
@ jets78 DICE says that: "This means that the code you are now playing is actually quite early and not representative of the final game." http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield_bad_company/archive/2011/10/03/battlefield-3-open-beta-update-2.aspx
oh ok.. i get it. this vid simply teases us on which parts of the vid are the real thing and not, and they're pretty hard to distinguish, TBH. very nice. :)
no steam no buy and the more i hear from all these marketing gimmicks the less excited i get about bf3. origin = laughable!
game looks horrable i tried the beta and the game play and graphics are very sketchy . there are to many glitches in the game that need to be fixed before release.
EA knows how to how market their games the worst way possible. Seriously, what the hell is this? I think the fault line of trailers would have been perfect for BF3 marketing.
