E3 2012: Chris and Aaron share their thoughts on Battlefield 3 Premium.
Did you enjoy this video?
is it me or the video is out of focus?
i did not get back to karkand just because i thought battlefield may do something like this and hell it was worth my wait. i sis not give them 15 bucks.
What this basically comes down to is buying all the expansions ahead of release and you get some other bonus stuff as an incentive to pony up early. Like they said in the video if the maps are fun and more than $12.50 each (assuming everyone has Karkand already) you're good. But marketing the Back to Karkand as getting 5 expansions when the primary market for this already has one of the expansions is not good PR. I'm torn because I wasn't keen on the Close Quarters and with so little information on the two after Armored Kill...
Chris, you were not exaggerating about Back to Karkhand, it came out pretty much exactly 6 months ago. This premium pass is straight up sucker bait.
we bought the game, we shouldnt have to pay $50 for a game we already have
i don't know how this is not a smart deal. if you plan on getting all map packs, you get premium for cheaper and gets some random bonuses.
In my case it's a great deal. I don't have Kankard (anti DLC person espeically if it already on the disc). Plus I like BF3 more than all COD games I played. To me it bring more to the table than COD MW to COD MW3. It's the same game people with a new story and different gun and no realistic gameplay with corny perks. It's funny how they make it seem like BF3 prem. is a rip off. But Elite is the same exact thing. SMH.
Medal of Honor..Battlefield 3, whats the difference...always professional Gamespot.
@Gelugon_baat Just wait, they will find a way to turn this into a "they do it because they love us" thing.
That's the beauty of it. . . It's completely optional! And you're right, you did pay for the "core" BF3 game, but that doesn't entitle you to all the future DLC.
@Matt_Wetner you don't have to pay anything. You aren't missing out on anything.
@bagmup Corrected, many editors living off caffeine at the moment. Thanks for the catch.
@Foppe lol. Its like the gamers version of stockholm syndrome. Mind you if they were to simply release these as map packs it would cost about 800pts each so could be value for some.
@AirDog80 Caffeine and blow i'm guessing haha
