Batman: Arkham City Gameplay Trailer
Take a look at some gameplay in this trailer for the follow-up to Rocksteady's hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City.
the only thing i don't like about this trailer and the game are the enemies they seem too stale and all of them are pretty much the same size (bulky) and even looks the same. I would love it if the played the soundtrack during gameplay at some moments, i really missed it in the first one.
@Scar-face123: I disagree, X-Men Origins, Wolverine was really fun, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was frickin' epic.
this is my favourite superhero game of all time, actually this is the only superhero game, all the rest i like to call CRAP!, but anyway i like the first BAA it was one of the best games i ever played i actually felt like i was playing a superhero i also like they made the game dark and somewhat creepy. i hope this Batman Arkham City will live up to the first one, and from just looking at this trailer i think we have another GOTY contender and another great Batman game, i'm a marvel guy, but for some reason the best superhero game and movie is from dc comics. batman is the only dc superhero i like.
guys l hope this game would be open world like ac even batman is a hero he still dark knight wanted by the police love by people...hoping batman would save a civilian in distress
considering that the first game was just a test run which they never really expected to do so well, this one should be twice as good.
why is this game taking so long to release, i mean c'mon it's not like i'm sounding desperate or am i. I mean c'mon i'm still playing the the first Bats. i play it for hours and hours. this guys are just making me sooo anxious.
@Nibinaear First off, yes you are correct about the AIs but what game is perfect with stealth system? Improvements can be made(I'm going to guess there are improvements in this sequel). Have you even read or know some of the history of the Batman world(Arkham City also)? Maybe if you did, you would know how these villains came to be and become Batman's enemies. As for the thugs roaming the streets.. well they're just thugs. Its not like they are going to sign up as a 'police' in an open jail world. Think about it. Those thugs have no future in society so choosing to be thugs under Joker, Harley, etc. is their only choice really.
Looks incredible, hard to believe they turned out a game of such high quality so quickly after the first, I hope the studio that did the development on this game gets more comic book properties.
I hope it's better than the last one. I enjoyed Arkham Asylum to a point and it got me interested in gaming again, but there were issues with AI. Sometimes enemies woudln't notice but be right in front of you, other times you were around a corner and they knew you were there? There was also the issue of, why would all these enemies sign up to be a bad guy? I'm waiting for unbiased in-game footage personally, it's a little too early to call.
i think we all have been waiting for a batman game like this. Great combat system, and a little bit more free roam creates a recipe for "possible" greatness.
@darkcul LOL you are complaining about Arkham Asylum having too many hallways and airducts yet you have Sam Fisher as your avatar pic. Hypocrit
