@ Kains-Legacy: I thought the EXACT SAME THING. I swear I didn't understand how "Two Face could sneak up on Catwoman" but ya know anything to make a game. I still can't wait.
Batman is the only super hero that will take his time to kick your ass that's one of the reasons why he is awesome
Wow! Catwoman can actually hear the sequences to unlocking a safe but can't hear Two-Face approach her blindside? Da hell?
Damn!!! So many good games coming out and so little cash!!! This one is a must! AC Revelations, Skyrim, MW3...and the list goes on!
@noahmorrow07 I know the feeling. I need to resist watching these videos, its tempting me to the "dark side." I don't care if they have cookies. They have batman.
i have up to 128$ to spend on games for the next three months....i was originally planing to get skyrim and uncharted 3.....but now i realize i wont be able to resist this game.......
The first one was so great in so many aspects I can only hope this one improves on the fighting mechanics... not the graphs but the actual fighting sequences adding some combos like the improvements that were made between Sands of Time and Warrior Within... everything else in this game is simply PERFECT!
The greatest Riddle of all... who is BATMAN?!? I hope the Riddler stuff is as interesting as the first one.. well even more interesting, I mean finding out (SPOILER) that warden sharp was insane was quite good.
This Game Is What Hardcore Batman Fans Have Been Waitong For It's Going To Be Legendary, GOTY Any One?
Just watched the original video of this playthrough on youtube, and I really can't believe that Gamespot had the gall to pretend this was a live playthrough. That is some seriously unethical journalism Gamespot.
Catwoman is awesome and sexy. I'm glad you actually get to play as her in this one. I was kind of disappointed when you actually didn't get to play as Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum, because she is sexy there... hell, she's even sexier in this one.
Even for fantasy, Catwoman is far fetched. The stupid casting of the character in the movie aside, she makes a slight mockery of things. Fortunately, it's not enough to stop me buying this game though.
It looks pretty fun, like the last one. The only thing is that I've always wished about batman games/movies is that he killed people. Its more fun knowing you killed someone rather than knocking them out.
Not sure I understand the decision to rehash existing footage in this manner but it is not the travesty some are calling it. Fair play to Dax for playing along, guess all publicity is good publicity, still looking as good as when the footage first appeared ;) Maybe in future a better approach would be to have an interview over the footage with some unique timely questions? I would have loved to hear about Rocksteady's views on being released against Skyrim, Battle Field 2, MW 3, Dark Souls, Uncharted 3 etc the footage would still be fine but the questions fresh....imo, what do I know :D
@Gelugon_baat That's a fair point. The reason we took time to visit Rocksteady and shoot this (I shot/edited this peice) is because Gamespot users much prefer gameplay than interviews - so a written article wouldn't interest as many people. We didn't realise the section we shot was the exact footage that was released before - if we had, I can't say we'd have taken this approach on the day of the shoot. As for your last point, I've was a vocal member of the community for about 6 years - believe me myself and the rest of the staff take users opinions very seriously.
I had seen this gameplay before, I think the interviewer pretended to play game by grasping a joystick, I hope I`m wrong otherwise it is not good to make fool of us.
these guys should make a game for the matrix judging by their combat system.. and by the way I couldn't think of a better way to make a game for batman
Really would have preferred to only play as Batman. Controlling Catwoman does absolutely nothing for me...
Uh...haven't I already seen this, and when did the PS3 have B and Y buttons -_- Do they think we're retarded, we can tell your faking this whole fing video. If I didn't want the game bad enough I wouldn't buy it after seeing this video, talk about a slap to the face of the gamer.
wow, since when did the (Playstation 3) controller have the buttons of an xbox 360 controller? I don't recall any A or B buttons... lmao, sloppy title, as usual for game"spot" to show every multi platform game on the xbox 360 only.... getting really OLD fast...
